Hope you guys enjoy this one. It's another classic video essay type of video that I put together over the course of the last two weeks. Let me know what you'd like for me to cover next :)
That Frigate was always a dream ship of mine (TPM guilty pleasure enjoyer here). I'm also soo bummed that I missed many of those clone battle packs back in the day :'( Great synopsis of these formative years for LEGO Star Wars! Also, unless I'm missing a LOT, we never see animatics like shown here nowadays (not watching kid's tv channels might have something to do with that!). I wonder if that's partially a Lucasfilm thing? 🤔 ...Throwing shade at Chewie 💀
They really did away with a lot of cool things in the last 10 years. No more VIP calendars, no printed full art instructions, products are no longer photographed and replaced by renders, no more commercial advertising, no more LEGO club magazines, and the newly announced removal of the VIP system. There’s a lot that was taken away from us in recent years.
Great video. Other than the helmet holes issue I prefer the new P2 clones over the old ones. I just hope at some point they bring back P1 clones. That one 3 pack was impossible to find!
