Nida Blanca has a serene screen presence whatever role she portrays. For me, she always had the right amount of energy in her acting. Her speaking voice is pleasant even when angry. As a child, the Nida Nestor show on TV was a joy to watch particularly when the two start talking immediately after a dance routine while still catching their breath. I miss the good old days when life was slow and less complicated.

I remember Nida Blanca was my mom's favorite veteran actress. Hindi manlang makulong kulong ang asawa nyang foreigner if ever sya man talaga ang pumatay.
Ang sobrang ganda din ni Amalia Fuentes during her younger days. I believe I've met her ex husband here in California may isa silang anak na babae namatay din na asawa ni Albert Martinez.
