Branches of Power needs a lot of front loading for students. There are things I like about the game and things I don't. It's a great example how three branches can be a part of the lawmaking process but it also makes it seem like ideas for laws can only come from the President. It's not a full picture of the Legislative Branch lawmaking process. For more advanced classes, it can be a great discussion or assignment to compare how similar or different it is from actual lawmaking. As far as games go, there's not enough 'game' in it for my tastes. I've been meaning to make another video for this series (where I review icivics games). I'll be sure to mention you in the video when I eventually get to it). Thanks for your awesome comments and support. I appreciate them!
