If you value ink quality, avoid purchasing the Epson Eco Tank. When printing images, there are always streaks. Second, if you leave the document out in the sun, the colors will fade. Lastly, if you do not print for a while, one of the colors may become clogged, and power cleaning multiple times will not help.
HP is horrible. With their recent update, you can't even use freshly bought toner unless you subscribe and pay for their monthly membership. If you don't, they disable the printer. That doesn't even sound legal.

And unlike the HP printer I had before where if you ran out of a certain color you can have the printer mix colors or print in another color using the other cartridges whereas the Epson would not print at all until you replace the empty cartridge.
OMG.. I bought the Epson ecotank from Costco, kinda on a whim since I known Costco has a great return policy (though I rarely take advantage of it since most of their items are of high quality). What a huge let down! When I tell you the print quality was bad, i mean… it was BAD! Lines all across the page, poorly distributed ink, smears… it was absolutely God awful!!! I returned it and am still using my very old Brother. Mine works just fine, but it disconnects from my Wi-Fi constantly and every time I need to reset its connection, it prints a new test sheet which wastes a bunch of ink. I’m still on the search for the perfect budget friendly printer.
@@Jess_Smith0903 I just bought brother dcp-t720dw and exact same problem, streaks all over the photos, on top of that scan quality is tragedy no matter which settings I choose, I thought about returning it and checking epson this time but I dont know what to do anymore
@@PSYCH0S0CIAL5 I ended up buying the HP from Costco; (all in one envy 6458e) and it’s been so happy with it! The quality is as good as you can get with this price range, prints super well, I never lose connection and the unit from Costco gives you a 6 month ink included. Very well worth it imo.

I am really suprised my brother is that bad, I didnt expect super quality but those streaks are unacceptable. Is there any way to automatically apply adhesive tape and holes on one side of A4 paper? The papers of the registration book signed by the teachers are always lost!

I encountered streaks on my Epson Eco Tank 8550 but then I changed papers and the streaks disappeared. So it depends on the paper you use.
My ecotank tanked in a year! Streaks, scanner parts popped out, not a happy customer, slow to scan & print

Some of those printer are traps ! Stay away from HP. Only get ink-tank for colors or laser for everything else
