Yeah lets just skip over ink... lets totally not talk about the caveat at all, lets ignore the fact you get almost no ink in those cartridges and they cost you an arm and a leg.
I paid about $50 or $60 for a decent Hp printer on sale at Walmart but the problem was that I ended up paying more for cartridges than I ever paid for the printer itself. So it's always good to make sure you buy a good printer that also has cheaper cartridges.
Can’t believe I came to this video because I hate my printer and am thinking about buying a new one only to find out one of he printers being recommended is the one i’ve stared at in disbelief and frustration for so many months. Talking about cartridges, this thing actually feels superior to me enough to tell me what to do in my own house! I happen to be a bit on the lower side of red ink but in a hurry to print a black and white school paper? Sucks to be me, because unless I go out in the middle of the night to buy more ink that I’m not even planning to use the damn thing will just refuse to work, as if accusing me of slavery unless I feed it my own (red ink) blood. I bought an Epson XP257 home expression but after a few years it kept saying I wasn't using genuine cartridges so I replaced it with a Pantum 5600NW laser printer with scanner. The Pantum even lets you refill the toner cartridge with ink powder and tells you how to in the instruction manual. Refilling with toner powder will cost about £12 compared with £75 for the A3 HP or £45 for the Epson.

Just replaced my HP OfficeJet Pro 8615. It was installed on January 22, 2015 and finally developed a fatal printhead problem on December 1, 2024. Total of 37,000 black and white pages and 15,000 color pages. Had to replace black cartridge every 4-6 months and color cartridges every 8-10 months. I'm replacing it with the 8715.
I went for the Epson Expression Home XP-4100, I only need a printer for occasional use so feel this is the best for me as you can replace individual ink. Had HP envy for years but found it stop working with WIN11 and now after the fix and new drivers it keeps missing lines on document. So given up with HP.
@calin073 is working well. Colour ink runs out quickly on high-quality photos, the printer is great, works on network, wi-fi, and USB cable. Worth having.
As a big user of home printers since the late 90's, I completely and wholeheartedly agree with you on that! It's been consistent over the years...HP printers are problematic, and underperform. Canon's are the best and the easiest in my opinion, with Epson being second. Just wish they'd provide more reasonable prices on their ink.
yup. I myself learned my lessons with both a Hp printer and HP PC and I will NEVER EVER buy anything from them ever again!! the are the Worst of the Worst!!!

With all the technology today why can’t you get a decent durable printer with decent ink cost. Make you wonder if all of these cost factors are deliberate just like everything else in life.
I've been buying HP printers since 2000 and was loyal customer. Never again. Their printers are nightmare. Constantly replacing ink cartridges even though I hardly ever use it. PC and laptop only lasted 2 years until I had to replace the hard drives in each.
So I have had an HP PHOTOSMART 7520 forever and love it. But has been damaged unable to repair. Is it normal now for companies to block all print cartrides but there own? New HPs apparently do, SEEMS PETTY!

I am looking for something that can at least do a decent job without the ink cart cartridge scam.

Sad thing is, all printers suck. There are some that suck less, there are some that suck more, some are straight up scams, but there isn’t a printer that doesn’t use overpriced ink, prints well, is easy to use and has good customer support. So you just choose which ones you can live without and choose a printer based on that. I will say print quality on my HP envy is good...however whenever I have to print I have to unplug and replug in. I hate that. My needs are minimal I just want a good product that will print when I want without restarting printer.
I bought a cheap Canon pixma printer, Now paying about $1.10 per page due to ink. Ink only findable be me with 2 pack including color. I don't print color...so anybody needs like 2 dozen color cartridges?
My 13 year old grandaughter set it up after I bought her one for school work. Guess education standards are slipping in some places! P.S. She helps us out with TH-cam, WhatsApp etc😊
Who puts this together and how much does this person know about printers? Cause it seems like you are reading from a list of features provided by the manufacturer. Who, in 2023, is happy with a CD that has the software on it? What laptop still has a CD-drive?! Who would still want to use HP printers, when HP is (in)famous for blocking third-party inkt-cardridges in their printers and even making it necessary to have inkt in your printer when using the scanner? Yes, you need printer inkt to scan!!
HP cartridges are designed to dry out within about two months if not used. Don't bother with HP. If you really want an inkjet, go get a Canon. At the very least, the cartridges will last longer.
I want just a printer, don't need the AIO nuisance, miss the Canon printers like the BJ-200 and BJ-600 that just printed. I prefer AIO in monochrome lasers.
Thanks for some mentions. The only thing which rolled my eyes is "FAX". How about to roll over to 21st century and forget about fax and transfer speeds like 1 page every 3 minutes.
Sir, the basic printers is not good for our children's school use. All are expensive inks, and quckly inks finish. I trow my basic printer. When, I buy brother dcp t520w, Inktanks.. Oh, very nice after 1year, only I bought inks just 3colours.the quality is good. Now, we did not believe in adds. In TH-cam..
A CD in 2024... haha this printer is stuck in the year 2004.... we don't even have CD readers anymore crazy it comes with a CD still this printer. Should just have downloadable drives / software.
Why not say the price in the video? I know prices change but i was hoping to get a rough idea before actually clicking any link. I ‘ll just go to Amazon. Not clicking the links. Smh
I bought an Epson XP-440 and it’s a horrible printer. I have spent around $300 dlls in ink. That works to print around 10 prints and when a color fails to print The software would not let you print at all!
Don't believe this BS. Most inkjet printers are designed to to make you spend a ton on new print cartridges. HP is the worst offender. Go get yourself a laser printer, probably from brother, and use that. Upfront cost is a little more but you'll save a ton in not replacing cartridges.
I am glad I can skip through the video. I won't watch the presentation on HP and I would not buy an HP printer again, ever. And I'm not interested in any printer that does no offer fair ink pricing.
I have a question for anyone: Recently A relative of mine wanted to buy a printer for her laptop and was told by a clerk at Best Buy that she MUST have an iphone to operate any printer. Is this true? I bought a printer last year but it didn't require an iphone or any smartphone to operate it.
Video is only a yr old and the printer comes with a freaking CD 💿 !?!?!? how the heck would you use one of those in 2024 exactly? And this is the 5th video ive seen with that little square camera with a screen that i had over 20 yrs ago... before camera-phones became a thing. By the look of all these bulky retro bricks im going to assume there has been no printer advances in decades.
This video is useless and missed all most important points, just reading the "on paper specs" yeah they all look good, thanks lol First of all AVOID the greedy criminal corporate scam HP manufacturer !!! Can't believe these nightmares still listed in the top ! All $50-100 budget printers are just hungry piece of crap that eat all the ink costing your arm and they break down for no reason just after the warranty, no matter the brand. If you just want a simple black & white printer get a laser one, bit expensive but believe me you won't have to replace the cartridge or fill the tanks only after few pages in a month, they're also long lasting. For All in ones inkjet, I would recommand Brother, or the cheaper Epson. Brother printers are the first options, users have kept them for 10 years without any issue
HOW CAN THE #1 RATED PRINTER NOT HAVE THE ABILITY TO COPY OR SCAN?!?! These are the secondary and tertiary capabilities that are needed of a printer, especially at this price! Granted printing is what makes a printer a printer (ha ha…. I wrote “printer(ing) 3 times in sentence 🤓) but just having a good clean print (4 x now! 👨💻) and long ink cartridge life should not make it #1….. 🖨️
How come Hp😂is not true. But inktank good for home use. 😂😂Brother inktank is best as my experienced. Hp, is worse now, before it's okay. Color laser is or brother. Cannon ink jet is expensive inks cartridge not reasonable. Hard in wifi. Brother mono laser is good also.

Omfg, I just bought an hp printer yesterday, and for whatever reason, when i try to connect it to my cell phone, it stays stuck on preparing printer 👎
I have a HP 3 in one printer it just stop printing. Tried resetting it when I sent work to I it is connected to WiFi it say it is printing documents but it is not 2700
I'm not too fond of HP printers.
Fantastic, clear, and concise review!!!
@validconsumer, did you test these printers yourself? somehow I think you didn't test these printers and you only made a nice TH-cam video.
I'm glad I've never owned an HP printer before.
What is the best printer then.....
I have an hp printer and it’s rigged! It always prints small 5-60 mins for 1 paper and if you get it wet it turn into weird colors.
Everyone saying don't get Hp, but not saying what to get.

@@MarcusBP thanks
I will say print quality on my HP envy is good...however whenever I have to print I have to unplug and replug in. I hate that. My needs are minimal I just want a good product that will print when I want without restarting printer.
Man, I don't _Envy_ you
lol

I bought a cheap Canon pixma printer,
Now paying about $1.10 per page due to ink.
Ink only findable be me with 2 pack including color.
I don't print color...so anybody needs like 2 dozen color cartridges?
I do✌️
Please i need help, what printer is best for printing school and office documents😢
BROTHER
Canon mg 3620 requires a scientist with 50 years of training to setup the wireless. Dont buy this crap. What a waste.
My 13 year old grandaughter set it up after I bought her one for school work.
Guess education standards are slipping in some places!
P.S. She helps us out with TH-cam, WhatsApp etc😊
It connects to only 2.4ghz wifi
A CD? In 2024?
Who puts this together and how much does this person know about printers? Cause it seems like you are reading from a list of features provided by the manufacturer.
Who, in 2023, is happy with a CD that has the software on it? What laptop still has a CD-drive?!
Who would still want to use HP printers, when HP is (in)famous for blocking third-party inkt-cardridges in their printers and even making it necessary to have inkt in your printer when using the scanner? Yes, you need printer inkt to scan!!
Which Hp has the best reasonable price for ink cartridges? They has only 2 cartridges.
HP cartridges are designed to dry out within about two months if not used. Don't bother with HP. If you really want an inkjet, go get a Canon. At the very least, the cartridges will last longer.
Can’t understand why HP Printer is on this list. Have one which is useless and expensive to run and why I am looking at this video. DON’T BUY HP
Please Everyone I have a request to you, please don't buy HP printer!
I prefer Canon
In TH-cam..
That's good, ink-tank printers are worth looking at.
Smh
I hate All hp products and especially customer services!!!
I bought an Epson XP-440 and it’s a horrible printer. I have spent around $300 dlls in ink. That works to print around 10 prints and when a color fails to print
The software would not let you print at all!
HP sauce yea! HP printers nay
DON'T buy ANY HP printers!!!!! Their printer cartridge policy is border line illegal.
HP is a rip off
Is this Jonathan Saccone Joly speaking??
Don't believe this BS. Most inkjet printers are designed to to make you spend a ton on new print cartridges. HP is the worst offender. Go get yourself a laser printer, probably from brother, and use that. Upfront cost is a little more but you'll save a ton in not replacing cartridges.
I am glad I can skip through the video. I won't watch the presentation on HP and I would not buy an HP printer again, ever. And I'm not interested in any printer that does no offer fair ink pricing.
Does anyone still fax??
Peek into the crystal ball: Binance CEO’s exclusive interview about future developments
HPs are awful printers. The ink is a rip-off.
How you can promote this printer it is rubish the cannon ap is the most clumsy frustrating in the andriod world
2024 ? how old is this upload ? the TS8620 is no longer available. This was uploaded a year ago, click bait.
thumbs down for mentioning hp
It seems HP is more focused on marketing 😂
Epson c’est pas bom material pour longtemps. 3 imprimantes Epson et toutes HS après 2 ans . J’ai changé por canon pixma série Ts
I have a question for anyone: Recently A relative of mine wanted to buy a printer for her laptop and was told by a clerk at Best Buy that she MUST have an iphone to operate any printer. Is this true? I bought a printer last year but it didn't require an iphone or any smartphone to operate it.
absolutliy NOT. You don't need an iphone to run a printer
@@mindybeeman7062 Thank you!!!!!
After the umpteenth printer video it would seem that nobody on earth actually owns a printer to review.
Ok
Epson All the way.
What are you talking about? Epson is rubbish.
This video is useless and missed all most important points, just reading the "on paper specs" yeah they all look good, thanks lol
First of all AVOID the greedy criminal corporate scam HP manufacturer !!!
I said the same thing basically. I’ll share below. 👇 👇 👇 👇
After trying it out, the HP printer is complete garbage.
HP? are you serious? OH HELL NO!!!!......that's like the absolute worst company ever....DO not BUY ANYTHING from them or you will be sorry!
HP after 3 years is trash.
