In our island, especially in remotes area in Sumatra, kerambit usually in small size. Because it's meant to be a hidden weapon. The bigger the kerambit surely will make a lot damage, but it will also harder to control and easy for the opponent to read your movement.

Fox 599TiC is by far my favorite folding Karambit. The combination of the Elmax blade, Titanium and Carbon Fiber frame lock with over travel stop, Emerson wave and flipper tab all make it a premium Karambit. However the IKBS bearings brings the form and function together and truly set the TiC a part from the standard 599 & 579.

As someone who trained in close quarter defensive Kali combat fighting for over 20 years, my EDC is the Fox 599 G10. Too bad it wasn't included in the video review. An excellent quality cutter.
I have the CRKT Provoke compact and I love it. Solid deployment and locking mechanism. Slimmer than the original provoke, but fits great in the hand with no hot spots. I find the gimping on the thumb catch has a nice enough bite, that with practice, I am in fact able to deploy using the pocket catch technique akin to the Emerson wave (right handed deployment only of course).

Excellent breakdown, sir. You gave me all the info I needed, so I've purchased a Brous from Knife Center. If price weren't an issue, I certainly would've gone for the CRKT Provoke.
Of all the ones you have shown us, the Brous Blades Enforcer has the most karambit design because of its right angle. In addition, its triple wave makes it infallible when extracting from your pocket.
I can confirm, the provoke is awesome. I have actually used it as an EDC because of how convenient it is, which is something I never would have thought I would say about a karambit.
Great idea on this video with so many folding karambits out there now to choose from. There is one correction you need to make, however. The Brous doesn't have a reversible clip. It does have the blank on the one side which is a carry over from the USA made original G10 version where it was supplied with an extra clip for left hand carry. The imported version you show with FRN handles doesn't ship with an extra left hand clip. Try switching the clip and you'll see that it is backwards. At any rate, I carry mine in the left side, for presentation with tip down. It waves out lightning fast!

I actually own all of these except for the very first cheap one and the last CRKT Provoke. That one is next on my list to get. I like the WE karambit the best. Fox is best value.
I have the CS Tiger Claw serrated. It is a large karambit that waves well. Use it for defense of my pistol. Don't do any flipping with it just draw and cut. Can also be flicked open with a sharp snap of the wrist.👍
I'm still partial to the Steel River karambat, 3.25" blade, G-10 handle, 81/4" tip of blade to tip of glass breaker on the ring. Liner lock release and 1/2" wide, it fits my large hand just fine, isn't too heavy, very fast, positive deployment. Hey Dave, fact check. That Brous Enforcer does NOT have a reversible clip. The original high end version did, but only by packaging a second clip, as the contour is side specific. Love my Enforcer - one of the best values out there! Great overview of my favorite Bits!

I prefer my karambits with a shallower curve for more utilitarian uses with a 15-45 degree blade from the handle, and a comfortable finger ring so they are in line each other and doesn't put pressure on the next finger. I have yet to find a folding karambit with the ergos akin to bastinelli's pika
