I suppose everyone is sentimental about the music era they grew up in, or became interested in music, for me it was the eighties, I listen open minded to music of all eras and I honestly don't think you can beat the eighties, such an array of different music, a fantastic time the eighties not just for music but also TV, cinema video games, the eighties were the beginning of the amazing technology we have today.

After an 11 hour drive through France to my home in Monaco, unable to stay awake for the last few miles, I parked up overlooking the sea and fell asleep. This is such a haunting atmospheric sound and took me right back to the summer of ‘83. Amazing how music has that ability to take you back to those wonderful memories. This song and band flew below my radar back in the day., but the feeling and nostalgia the song and the comments evoke, are comforting, and sustains my daily yearning for the past. The music I enjoy and listen to the most, i.e., 70s and 80's, makes living in the present challanging., but when I do have those rare "moments of zen", they are with the music of nature, outdoors.
