I feel like instead of banning hackers, they should just subtly put them in a pool of only other hackers and it forces them to wait forever to find a lobby.
I remember hearing talks about this on the r6 sub back in year 4 so. I still think it'll be a good idea to shadow ban people like that and submitting an appeal if innocent should be an option

My guess for match 5 is that the cheater was new and his spectating friend was instructing him on what to do, rather than telling him where the enemy is.
btw! In the 2nd match at 8:54 you ask "why are they moving like that?", to which I answer, they are mimicking Spoit, and how he goes around corners. check it out for reference" double checking every edge twice as he goes around.

Pretty far fetched ideas: 1) community policing. Grant exclusive rights to trusted members of the community the ability to ban and suspend cheaters. People like beaulo, varsity, yumi. In general members of the community who are honest and encounter cheaters on the reg. (It should also be included that any trusted membera who wrongly ban players should be liable for damages and subject to ban and expelled from the community entirely.) 2) privately owned server with ban tools. Community servers players can access, that are hosted to select (ubisoft partnered) server providers, so players can play on older or current builds of the game and enforce rules that are fair to the R6S community. Same deal like IWX4. Just far fetched ideas that could possibly flesh out cheaters.

My only question is, why does it gotta take multiple reports and manual reviews before someone gets banned? Isn't the anti cheat software supposed to detect weird script running in the background? Or any kind of code tampering? Like why does other games have figure out anti cheat (like COD or even BF2042) but siege hasn't after 200 years of development
Last I checked warzone had a lot of cheaters, but the base game is literally 70+ dollars so people only cheat in warzone. R6 can be bought for roughly five dollars so people don't care about getting banned.

I definitely feel like the cheating has gotten worse over the last month. The last two weeks of last season I got 2 rollbacks and 2 since the new season started. I'm not even in champ lobbies. I'm gold 5 and most of the other people I play with are high plat low emerald.

5th match definitely looked like a case of soppy using walls and trying to boost free in a discord chat. It's obvious as frees aim wasn't on point as you said "aim down sights, right there shoot" Overall the wall hacks were strong this time around as it's easier to fake it where you won't get reported. While I'm sure they will get banned over time if done right and not trying to be a sweatfest someone could easily fake it to being just luck.
