So I'm a complete noob in this game coming from ark with 2 buddies and we've killed 3 named shieldwrights at fleshtearer falls not realizing how badly we needed it as a thrall. We saw the gold health bar on our first day playing and thought "Oh named enemy, he must have good loot!" Sadly its been 3 weeks since we've seen another one and now understand the significance of our obvious blunder. Best of luck to those searching and thanks for an amazing guide!
Oh, hey - I think we all made that mistake, I don't even know how many named ones we killed "by accident" in the beginning. It's all stuff you figure out over time and like in your case, makes for a good story! 😀 You'll get some good named ones sooner or later, I'm sure - good luck!
Hey, I have been going through some of these spots to catch any of these thralls. No luck so far as of the date of this comment. I did manage to get a T3 armorer last night, but nothing like having the high quality worker. I wonder if up to this day, these locations prevail or they have changed? Also, how many "renewals" must I make so one of these show up to thicken my work force.
We haven't checked in a while, but also not seen any update about changes (but you never know). Spawn chances can be as little as 1-5% for T4s, so you can imagine how many times you might simply not find the one you want. While everything is depending on luck, the locations we call "best" are those where you at least get only other Tier spawns, not other professions, so the T4 only competes with other Tiers, not other professions. That does of course not mean that you can't get lucky and run into the T4 you're looking for at a location that's shared with multiple other professions, but for the sake of farming a location, the ones we call "best" give you still the highest chances. Hope this explains it a bit.
If you dont want to travel far for only one or two spawns i recommend the good old clearing Sepermeru for respawns method. Yes, most spawns there are shared but the sheer amount of spawns makes up for that. Id rather roll my luck for the
Sepermeru is indeed still a fantastic place to hunt for T4s, especially if you still need a lot of different crafters. I guess it comes down to preferences or simply change of scenery if one gets tired of spending too much time in the same place. It would also be great to see Sepermeru evolve a bit in future, with a better tavern and maybe other activities - it's such a big space. Good luck on your thrall hunts, wherever you go!
@@Pixelcave considering the addition of player-built taverns, and this Age being all about war, it would've been cool if (similar to the rebuilding of Al-Merayah) we also saw a rebuilding of Sepermeru. Give it a larger tavern and have people come and go into it just like the player taverns, maybe redo the market area so that there'd be wandering caravans that would appear in certain spots around the market every couple of hours, selling various random goodies, so that the treasures we've been hoarding might actually have some use in the later game. They could even have a treasure vault in Sepermeru that you'd be able to deliver Treasures rather than your own vault, and delivering treasures here might award you with a Supply Materials crate that would have an amount of resources determined by the value of deposited loot. That way it would add a bit more interactivity to Sepermeru itself. If you WANTED to haul a Heroic Treasure all the way to that vault, that would likely be the most profitable donation though.
Thanks! You don't even want to know how many chars I created before I was happy... the other Pixelcaver always calls me crazy for spending that much time.
Pro tip: don't go for siesse black tongue she's got a low spawn rate and there's a mountain of lava in-between her spawn zones and you have to constantly be sucking on ice and the enemies in that area are very strong
Agree. Traveling through the volcano for two spawns is a waste of time. Since there is not a single Shieldwright with an increased spawn chance in the game id rather clear Sepermeru for many respawns. She-Who-Wears-Mens-Skin, Silas the Weathered, Hanar of Bossonia and Arcen Brokenfingers. Thats four Shieldwrights you can get on the fixed armorer spawns or the mixed spawns in Sepermeru.
Kinda old video but I actually got Henrietta at the campfire directly across from the entrance to the Highland village, so there is a 3rd spot ppl can look for her.
Oh, there are several more spots in the Highlands and elsewhere, that's correct - but in this guide we only focussed on locations where if a T4 spawns it's either always a Shieldwright (best locations) or always an Armorer (2. best locations). All other spots require way more RNG luck, due to the fact that other professions can spawn there as well - so you need to get lucky with getting a T4, the correct profession and correct specialization.
We always mention the "unique" bonus in the beginning of the video, in this case it's that they give the best armor value on crafted pieces, but for example Temperwrights have a special recipe that unlocks at a Tinker's Bench.
I feel you, it's just so very luck based. These are still the locations with the highest chance - as long as it's a good place for you to farm (level, travel distance, etc.). At least these spots don't share their spawn with other professions, which have - including the T1-T3 of all professions, an insane rotation. But it can be tough, just so damn RNG. Wishing you best of luck, hopefully you get one soon, maybe when and where you expect it least.
Yeah, it's hard to find the ones you want when you need them. You can of course have luck anywhere, but I'd say the best is to go to one of the guaranteed spots and kill the regular armorer until a T4 Shieldwright spawns in its place. If you are still looking for many others, places like Sepermeru are great too of course. Happy to hear you found one! What's next?
@@Iceicx Default respawn time is around 15min I believe, and yes, you can wait around. You can try to kill the NPCs on the same spot over and over again until the right one spawns,. This is why we highlighted the best locations only, because there you at least won't get any other professions in addition to the lower tier ones. Good luck!
Since Chapter 2 of Age of War will introduce a new, reworked Purge system, I'm sure the topic will be revisited by many. We'll make sure to cover it when more info becomes available.

I agree, have been farming her for 6 days 10 to 12 hrs and nothing. So frustrating. I advise not to waste time in the volcano.

I GOT LUCKY. I went into sinners looking for Coms becausse I needed a cook and one popped up out of nowhere.
Is this still up-to-date?
To our knowledge yes, but you never know if they did some recent changes of course.

Do any of these peeps do anything unique?
Like the Lone Fisherman has extra stuff on the fermentation barrel for example

The mounds of the dead ones, I have run through there hundreds if times and never seen that spawn.
Been farming the shieldwright at mounds of the dead for almost a week now and still no luck the spawn rate is way to low

The spawn rate is criminal literally searched an entire day
Found one in septamru spawn

Great job 👌
Thank you!
8 straight hours running a rouyte from volcano to mounds of the dead to sinners no shieldwright
That's very unlucky, but unfortunately the spawn chances are fairly rare. Wishing you best of luck that you get one soon! 🍀

Do a video for siptah for bladesmith and shieldwright
Can u please make updated videos for all the spawn locations for blacksmiths and all other thralls please because some these might have changed
siptah please
On the classic map there is not much problem with the armors, it is better to make a video on the siptah.
Personal opinion
