Technically the AirSwivel is made by Midea like many modern Bissells (like that Compact), so really you have 5 in this lot :)
Also, if you swap in a Powerforce motor into the Powergroom, just hook up the headlight harness to the carbon brushes and you'll be set.

Yay new vacuums saved! I have the Helix Turbo 68C71 as well as I used to have the 6583. It made laugh when you knew the Black and Decker had a shot motor and it did!

I live in the UK, one of my cousins had this Black And Decker rebranded by Argos Value, that ran new compared to yours. It gave up in like December 2020 so it went to the tip.

If possible could you find or do a Bissel Cleanview Helix model restoration possibly? Just took mine apart for a deep clean and realized i have no idea where to put 2 screws (They're not spares and i can't remember or see where the heck i took them out from)
I can't find any videos that are as thorough as you are with these
How far did you disassemble the machine? Just the base or down to the motor?
@@IntellitechStudios I went mostly on the shell, undid all of the lower part where the motor connects to the long brush (Idk what it's called but it's the whole bottom half that sucks everything) Then undid the main body and stopped once i reached where the power cord comes from. There were some wires lining one side of the body so i had to wipe it down carefully and let it dry for at least a day to make sure i didn't hurt anything
By trying to put it back together, bottom pieces and shell, leaving only the easy snap-in-place parts, i noticed i had two screws i didn't use. I'm worried to turn it on bc of my mistake haha
Worst case scenario is something is loose, I doubt you'll break it by using it otherwise. I personally would take it apart to see where the screws are missing. Unfortunately I don't have a cleanview Helix so I can't follow along or make a video on it, but if you look carefully you should be able to find the empty screw holes.

@@IntellitechStudios Fixed it! It was screw holes in the motor covering that connects to the bottom suction piece, i don't remember how the heck i undid those but that's exactly where they were missing, the vacuum works almost good as new too! All it'll need are some small part replacements and it'll be good for the next few years.

It’s pretty easy to replace the bearings in the bissell’s because all of them are 608 type bearings the only way you could really kill a bissell is by the motor burning out also where do you buy those vintage bissell’s brand new still in the box because I have been trying to find one for about 4 years and I still have not found one I’m trying to find a bissell powerforce helix turbo that’s 12 amps and has the red dust bin instead of the clear bin
The Bissell model 92L3-W that had a noisy motor could be maybe helped if you knocked off the fancase and removed the fan, put it in hot water and washed it, as its probably full of crap, putting the motor off balance, thus making such a racket. On the other hand, the fan may have a damaged vane, which unfortunately will be bad, but if the fan is just dirty, maybe wash it and oil the bearings - it may quieten the motor down enough to be able to sell it for a profit. As its a 2010 week 14, then to be fair to it, it is 10 years old, and some Sharks can be chucked out at less than 2 years old with torn powerhead hoses which Shark exclude from their warranties, so 10 years is pretty respectable for any cheap bagless Chinese made vacuum.
You could do the same thing with the Black and Decker - its probably the motor fan again full of crap as its been run without the bin separator in place - you may gain a spare motor out of it, or keep the vacuum until you get another one of them, with a good bin assembly.
The Powerforce Turbo (you didnt show the ratings plate so I cant tell the model number) sounded like it just had a stuck brushroll when it was started up, which then freed itself, but as you didnt show the brushroll, I cant say for sure - it could be a worn slipping belt? Either way, that one sounded not to bad.
I keep meaning to show every model number and every brushroll but somehow I manage tk forget and not even notice it when I watch the video. Ughhh I hate having memory issue. Sometimes I feel like my brain is a dying hard drive lol.
@@IntellitechStudios No worries - but I find its always a good idea to check the brushrolls, cables for damage, and the filters for being wet or clogged (and film it so we can see it, as its interesting) before switching an unknown vacuum from the side of the street on for the first time - that way at least you partly know how they will behave.

wow that powergroom, sad to see for me because i only barely remember a model exactly like that, that my parents had a seemingly before i even came along and the last i remember of it, the motor was starting to go :(. Im not sure where it went but that poor old thing had a rough life. I seriously love old bissells though.
That powerforce bagless that you have there you should disconnect the hose and see if that's what's making it clog like you did with your powerforce helix 1240 on your vacuums saved episode 19 video where you disconnected the hose to see if there was suction but no suction because the filters

The powerforce bagless 6583 just needs a cleaning and unclogging the powerforce helix turbo 68c71 needs a cleaning the powerforce compact 1520 needs a new screw for the lower hose

On the Bissell power force helix turbo just because it has all those attachments doesn’t mean that they would keep it if it didn’t have all the attachments and they threw it away and it worked perfectly fine nobody throws away perfectly fine vacuum

It’s easy to fix an off balanced motor, what you are hearing is the housing/ plastic vibrating because the turbine has junk in it.

Turbine is the opposite of a fan
The propeller in the motor acts like a turbine
And they both are basically the same thing
