it’s honestly really great to see all of these gyms in Canada that are relatively comp focussed. they don’t hold back on the difficulty either, so it’s an amazing place for high level comp training. it’s pretty rare over here in vancouver 😅
Hi Maddie and Zach, huge congrats on the double win at Canyon Masters! It would be lovely to meet you both in Frankfurt. Is there a particular moment where it would be possible to say hi, or would you rather have your privacy? Best wishes
Thank you!! Yeah that’s cool- we don’t really know our schedule yet though… All we know is that we’ll be at Studio Bloc Mannheim tomorrow morning around 11. As for Frankfurt I’d imagine we’ll climb at BW on the 8th or 9th!
Unrelated to the video but I really appreciate your shoe reviews and I’ve been wanting the vsr for quite a while. Ever plan on doing one for that shoe?
Hi Maddie and Zach! Since you know some of the setters, I was wondering: when you encounter difficult boulders that you haven’t solved yet, do you ask them for the beta, or do you try solving everything on your own, even if there’s a chance you might not solve it?
I wonder who else is following the training plan 😅 Thanks for the advice of taking a two day break and a 5 day break a month in this high volume training 💪
Oh right sorry, here’s the full list of 4 (courtesy of Hashim): - flat shoes are always better with a mid sole - Downsize a lot, your toes should be crunched and tight - The sole or the resole, should be chamfered inward at a 10 or 15 degree angle - No hands balancing with thumbs facing downward
This is my new favourite climbing channel, keep it up!
Yep loads of high level bouldering with in depth analysis.
Also very personable ofc
Welcome to the club! :)
Whenever he starts off with saying it’s a banger you know it’s a banger

😁😁😁
Those last four sends were stupendous!
😁😁
The TOTD is something found out on my own and when I learned it it made slab so much easier and way more fun
7hrs late but loving the video so far 🗣️🗣️🔥
Those mats look so damn chalky haha, every jump has a poof of chalk. Sick vid, awesome boulders.
A tip of the day montage video would be really cool and valuable
sooo funny on the paddle at 3:00 because stopping on blue is the beta break 😂😂
Lmao I didn’t realize at the time 😅
strong hips are so underrated! everybody says always flexible hips, but they need to be strong as well! it's ridiculous how much it can help!
Big time!!
beast

No plans to review the VSR! Long story short imo is that it’s the perfect gym shoe for every level of climber. Quite durable as well

Haha yeah we’ll usually ask for beta if we get stumped! But we’ll do our best to solve it first ;)

Wait you’re following this plan?? Haha yess these two bits of rest are so key!
@richardsonsclimbing I am trying my best 😀 Started 2 weeks ago!
Oh wow that’s so cool!! I’d definitely be curious to hear how you’re feeling after the first rest week!
did you ever find those v15 slab tips

Have you ever resoled your shoes? or is it not worth it, even for training shoes
Nope I’ve never resoled shoes so I don’t really know if it’s worth it!
