@@RebekahVenom I stg I thought something was WRONG with my male giant for the longest because all four limbs shake on and off and have been for years now (he’s 7) and it happens randomly whether he’s resting or exercising - even when sitting/laying down/standing etc.) lol it seems like it’s just common and harmless amongst the breed because that’s exactly what your cutie was doing! Our vet said it could just be that he’s excited, beyond the regular “pain or nervousness” that most people associate shaky legs with but I was so convinced he was in pain 😫🤣 dog mom probs
My german shorthair shakes alot of people think hes scared but he does it when he gets cookies, going into the dog park, doing his service work. Fun stuff not just nervous times.🤷♀️🐕💞
Ok that Oster clipper looks like my moms horse hair clippers . Yea I used to have a standard schnauzer that I clipped with regular wahl dog clippers but a much smaller dog . Plus he went to kennel for cuts too. Great video. Has always been my dream to get a giant schnauzer . I also live in florida though it north florida !
Hello I have one big boy but it lives outside the house and grooming is very hard once in the year(about 5 hours). Does somebody use sheep groomer for the same work?
WOW he looks AMAZING! He LOOKS exactly like Feydor after a hair cut except Feydors ears are not cropped. And I know EXACTLY what you mean, each cut costs me about $165 especially in the summer time! Plus, Feydor, has epilepsy since he was a year old, the expenses add up which is why I decided I want to start grooming him myself. I’m still SHOCKED by his name, some people think i say “vendor” or “Theodore” when I tell them his name lol
I just purchased the wahl grooming clippers, Can you please do a video showing step by step showing how you groom the face with the clippers? Also do you give him a bath before or after your done grooming him?
what made you decide to use clippers vs handstripping? im getting a giant within the next year & im getting so many different people telling me that handstripping is better and the other half just saying to use clippers 🤦🏽♂️
Basically convenience tbh. Hand stripping is the preferred method because it’s better for their hair to look professional. When you hand strip you won’t have the white hair pop up. but it’s time consuming and we just went with the easy method
NEVER CLIP A WIRED COATED DOG NOT EVEN AS A PET AS IT DAMAGES THE COAT, GETS WOOLY SO EASIER GETTING KNOTTED, DULL COAT ETC. BY FHE WAY COAT IS PROTECTION AGAINST COLD BUT ALSO AGAINST HEAT, SO BIG NONO

ohh no, poor pup it is mutilated :( you are an angel for saving this puppy! it should stop shaking once it gets used to you and knows you are friendly. i am sure it is shaking because his previous owners mutilated his ears.
Hi! No, he shakes because he’s panting and hot and gets scared easily. It’s just his personality. We’ve had him since he was 8 weeks old and we chose to crop his ears because he is a working dog on our farm. By this logic, spay and neuter is also “mutilation” because you remove their reproductive organs. Floppy ears aren’t even natural, which you can read in Darwin’s Origin of Species in the section on domestication. As someone who has gone through the process of cropping and posting, the dogs aren’t phased by it whatsoever. You can checkout my other videos to see that process if you’re curious.
@@johntheberserker1406 I don’t think a simple cosmetic surgery is evil. What do you think about spay and neuter that removes organs ? That’s a much more invasive and potentially damaging surgery. Just offering a discussion on the topic.
Great job!! The more you do it the better you will get.
Vader is the greatest dog name I’ve heard so far
Vader is beautiful and you can tell he is very loved.
Giants are the best 🤩
Yes 🐺 🙌
We are getting our first giant next month and we plan on grooming at home so this video was perfect! Vader is absolutely handsome!
Thank you! I will try to upload a face video trimming the brows and beard for you guys
Such a good boy!
Glad to see that my giant schnauzer isn’t the only shakey guy lol
RIGHTTTT WHY DO THEY DO THAT !!

He is super handsome. I had a mini that I adored. Thinking of getting a Giant. He looks very playful. Are they affectionate like Dobermans?

Vader looks awesome! I have a 10mo giant and have not done any home grooming myself so really great video to watch!

He’s about a year and a half here!

Hello, a good dog yoe have.
Hermoso animal, un lujo felicitaciones **
Hi, he is such a nice looking doggie 🖤 I am getting a giant puppy in a few weeks - does Vader have a soft coat or hard (German) coat ?
Soft!
I've owned schnauzers and minis since 1985 to today so I have more experience than im letting off I guess..
I just purchased the wahl grooming clippers, Can you please do a video showing step by step showing how you groom the face with the clippers? Also do you give him a bath before or after your done grooming him?
Hey! I will try to get a face video out asap. No we don’t bathe him, it would probably help though.
