Vijayanagar empire (from the same region) used Varaha(wild boar) symbol in their flags. Vaishnavism was official religion of Vijayanagara empire.

This is what happens when you take info from Google and think it's all true. Any random "Buddha" is not bhagwan vishnu's avatar. Read the original texts. Most don't even know the difference between Sugata Buddha and Gautam Buddha and confuse the latter as the 9th avatar. That is incorrect. Also, Varah is not suar or pig (presenter is wrong), it is wild boar.

Yes this lecture about Varaha Avatar is true,but the God which we saw in Kantara is not Lord Vishnu Varaha Avatar, this is different story and doesn't connect to Lord Vishnu it connects to Lord Shiva story and this Varaha is different called Panjurli daiva also called as Annappa daiva.
