    So many people dog Brady, but the fact is that he is a true competitor. Complements the other teams play while not making excuses for a loss. Truly one of the greatest ever. Coming from a bears fan

    As his last post game interview is revisited by me, I'm struck by the foresight he had. No branding on his clothing. His shirt is a blank slate, as is his hat. A stellar man. It brings me great joy to follow his career and applaud him taking down Brees, Rodgers and hopefully, Mahomes in the upcoming super bowl. GOAT.

    The insurmountable success of 9 Super Bowls appearances and 6 wins is tough act to follow every single year. This has ever been done by any QB in history and the expectations to make it to Super Bowl every single year is simply unrealistic. Take away the Manning brothers and Brady may have closer to 10 Super Wins. Franchises will continue dream to have an era like Brady - Belichick. This magnificent success adds sort of an eery unrealistic pressure to make it to the big game every season. No other team has this odd expectation to make it to every Super Bowl besides the Pats and no other team is judged harder than the Pats if they can not do it every year. The GOAT can not even fit all his rings on one hand but he is almost treated like a bum when he can't deliver a Super Bowl appearance every year. There are so many great QB's that seldom or never make it to the big game but are still considered the greatest of all time with less than 50% of Brady's overall career success. At age 42 he has a lot to be proud of and records that will not be broken in our life time or ever. Gronk was an unfortunate loss with early retirement. I think if he was still in the picture we would have be sitting with a bye week and in the conversation to win it all again. Brady can't single handedly carry a whole team to the Super Bowl every single season. You need at least a half dozen super stars on both sides of the ball to manage this type of feat. If Brady was 10 years younger this would have just been considered an off season. But due to his age it is a different sort of an emotional reaction. Let's face it, with his biological time clock ticking, the odds systematically begin to go a bit out of his favor without other great players around him to support the team efforts.

      Will Beecher Thank you. Absolutely spot on. Tom Brady is the GOAT and how sad that supposed sports fans can not simply enjoy the tremendous will, discipline and talent of this 6th round draft pick. Forget whatever team, region you are from. Give me a break... what football fan would not want TB as their QB? Never mind that, what true sports fan ( true sports fan) could not, does not, will not admire Tom Brady’s unlikely rise to success through his own personal and sheer will?

      You're right Tom Brady has 6 Rings if he beat Manning twice in the Super Bowl which the game came down to the wire so could have gone either way that's 8 Super Bowls in 20 16 the AFC Championship game Brady lost 18 to 20 to Peyton Manning if he one that would be 9 Super Bowls in 2006 Louisa Manning in the AFC Championship where he could easily one that's 10

    • @chrisn5079
      @chrisn5079 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      In the end Kraft is gonna have to choose between Belichick and Brady.
      Belichick will last longer than Brady. So he's the one you stick with.
      As much as I want to see Brady back next year, his attitude has gotta change. It fuckin sucked this year. I know his receivers aren't the greatest ever but that doesn't matter. He should make them better. Trust them. Throw them the ball.
      He looked and sounded like a whiny crybaby for more than half the season. (which I can understand why, but keep it to yourself)
      Notice a lot of rookies (and veterans alike) end up producing elsewhere. I think Brady's attitude is the problem. Look at what Gordon (yes I know, suspended again) and Hollister have done for Seattle thus far. And they traded Hollister for a SEVENTH round pick!
      There's tons of other examples too. I don't think the "offense is too hard to understand" I think it's the players don't wanna deal with Brady.
      Anyway that's my opinion.

      Justin Fever beating of his life? He’s the only QB in the playoffs this year that didn’t get sacked and his team had the fewest QB hits allowed. As far as for the season they were 4th in sacks allowed and 9th for avg sack/pressures/hits per game, which is great considering NE threw it more than anyone in the league this year. I know for NE if they aren’t the best in everything it comes as failure but there line was actually really good this year. Not that another 3rd party confirmation is necessary but if you follow PFF, they have their line ranked top 10 in the league. The line hadn’t been the problem, the problem is receiving and an aging Brady. WRs not getting wide open like in years past and Brady missing them when they do. A lot of times this year Brady wouldn’t even look at his 2nd or 3rd read he would just dump it off to white or whoever the rb was and take the easy yards. They were just off this year. 🤷‍♂️

His receivers got no separation, and Tom got no openings. Your arm doesn’t just stop working. Guys can whip the ball into their 50s, with a big ball like a football it doesn’t damage your arm. And the mental side only gets sharper. The only part that gets harder is taking hits. Brady doesn’t take hits
