In this episode we get the Kawasaki 1980 KZ750 budget cafe racer back on its own two wheels with all new bearings and tires, painted and rebuilt forks and rims. Its nice to see the machine back on its on its feet. When you take a bike like this apart, there is always that little voice in the back of your mind that worries you will never get it finished. Its nice to see we're getting another step closer.

Thanks it’s getting there 👍 it’s getting close to firing it up for sure. We’re planning on ultrasonically cleaning the cards. Any recommendations on reasonably priced slip on exhaust cones?
@@cafechronicles I fitted this one on my build: th-cam.com/video/0KVpN9l5P1o/w-d-xo.html. Probably best for a scrambler-ish build. The build quality was good, it's stainless steel, has removable 'dB-killer' and it was very cheap. I have not tested how it performs or how the sound is yet.
I have searched a lot to find reasonable priced 'classic cone' stainless steel muffler - that actually works as a silencer, not just a straight pipe. The ones that looks to be good are expensive, and the cheap ones looks really cheap and seems to have questionable noise reduction capabilities 🥴 If you can find anything good, let me know 😬
