    Nice video. I liked it. And the knife looked great. Sturdy and tough. Well made.

    There’s a reason that slipjoint knives have small narrow or stubby wide blades... the leverage on the spring.. I’m sure this works but much more likely to fail considering the blade length.. ideal to cut a notch on the tang and back lock all the way !!!

      That’s for the tips. This was my first folding knife ever, I intend to take what I learned from this one, redesign it, and try again.

      MarWood Knives I didn’t wanna sound like a dick man... I first started in Sheffield in England and was quickly educated as to why we don’t get many 6/7 inch folders.... you can do it and the blade profile is awesome.... love your Bowie btw... simple elegance

    All the hard work to create a custom then put a spideyhole in it to look like some generic spyderco knife.... wh??? Thumbstud all day!!!

      The hole is a spiderco trademark. You can't use it and sell the knife without permission

    Do you have a link to a page where you sell or list prices?

      My website is linked on my channels page. I usually do custom pieces one at a time and you can fill out the contact form for quotes.

    Do you have a template?

    • @JWoodsCustoms
      @JWoodsCustoms  5 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Yeah. I have the files for it in google sketch up. It should print as a 1:1 scale on 8-1/2 x 11 printer paper. I’ll update the description of the video to include a link to Dropbox with it.

      MarWood Knives hey also how do you hold the blade together? Like what do you use? I barely want to get started on making knives

    • @JWoodsCustoms
      @JWoodsCustoms  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@notduke3976 I used 1/8" steel pins that I then peened to hold the blade together.
