That's a nice looking truck Steve. I got a 86 long bed c 10 chev pickup I would live to fix up like that. Hopefully i can start this winter. Enjoyed your video
Nice really nice it’s perfect you did everything right your right it’s got that modern pro street not over kill with crazy paint design that’s a real truck
Great job Steve!! I wouldn’t change a thing!! Riding on 20’s is an issue with the low profile 245/35/20 I have up front.. The price we pay to get the stance we want 😕
😂😂😂 @1:50 … “I didn’t want Shaved Door Handles I wanted it to look Clean and as Factory as can”… Guess I’ll just Shave the Rain Gutters 🤦🏽♂️🤦🏽♂️🤦🏽♂️🤷🏽♂️
All of the suspension details are in the video. He used our Pro-Touring IFS and early muscle car Torque Arm kits. He also raised the rear frame rails 7" to accommodate the rear ride height.
@@tcimuscle the rear end I'm sure was shortened, did you buy it from a company, and what company? or did you have it modified? offhand would you give the measurements/info, sorry for the questions but I love the way your truck sits with those size wheels, if I can afford it id like to go with the 18x11 in the rear on my truck, soon ill be downloading vids of my truck build, its a 79 C-Dime, thank you
@@Channel505 The truck is/was owned by Steve at Famous Tire. We supplied the suspension. An 11" wide wheel will fit on a stock rearend with the proper backspacing. I'm pretty sure Steve had the factory rearend narrowed 2" per side so that he could run a deeper lip wheel.
very nice truck. i just have to ask u really paid 3,000 for it with no drive train only because i have a few of these sitting with good clean body with 0 rust in them i have one that is a scottsdale full chrome trim with Cadillac air ride suspension from factory it sits 3 inches lower then a normal 1/2 ton got all of them for free. i all ready have a 79 short box 4x4 cheyenne full option truck with the 400 sbc and 400 turbo 100% factory with under 35,000 miles on it in mint condition got it free. plus i am building a 68 short box with a stroke 454 with 02xx 400r turbo in it just needs interior finished and final paint have 2,000 in it running and driving and it likes to lay rubber started with a 450 hp 454 shooting for 700 hp. if u ever get ur hands on a 02xx trans they make the best street trans. last year i got 4 crate setups with the 450 hp 454 with the 02xx trans got all of them free with 6,000 miles to 58,000 miles on them all running perfect. i run into this stuff all the time for free or real cheap.
I've owned two 73 C10s. A custom with a 350 and a Cheyenne with a 454.
Beautiful truck super clean!
Oh man, that seat!
I was born in 74 and LOVE it. All I would have done is put a 20” on the back and that it! Great Job!!!
Very clean and love the stance!!

Looks like it won’t pass smog. My passion for cars and trucks for destroyed with Cali smog laws.
This year vehicle is exempt from smog in California.
