I certainly would drive it everyday just like I did my own 1958 Mk1 Frogeye which I owned 1974-1975.
I had a bugeye in high school, and drove it all year. Didn't really have a working heater, but I didn't care. This is in Canada, with cold, snowy winters.

Mine is primrose yellow. Supercharged and with many other upgrades to power brakes and suspension. I love the car!,

Wonderful car, excellent story. I owned a 58 SPRITE purchased in 1968. I miss it. I now have a 1963 MGB.. I think it is time to make it a rally car, thanks for the inspiration. .

I had a Frogeyed back in the 70s (great little car) which was originally a very pale blue and I resprayed the same shade of Yellow your car is. It was obviously not an original colour but I felt it looked good .... clearly you do as well

I have two I'm restoring, my father's. One was a racecar, neither have been on the road in almost 40 years. I would absolutely drive one every day where salt wasn't on the road.

@@drivepact Ideally, Spring of 2022 but I'm not holding my breath. Check out "Econobox Garage" in his project on youtube, his goal is Labor Day, 2021. I figure, I might be able to get them both done in a year and a half of weekly effort. He'll be working on his about 11 months by then.

@@TahoeRealm mine? I could! It's stalled while I change jobs and get the kids out of the house to college, I hope to restart next week. Then I get the second bugeye up on the rotisserie.
