- In this video I will be giving a brief overview of Ionising Radiation, which is an important type of occupational hazard that a worker can be potentially exposed to!
I will go over three main topics
- A brief overview on the electromagnetic spectrum in particular ionising radiation
- How we determine radiation dose, potential health effects of radiation and current dose limits
- The types of controls that should be in place to minimise exposure

What do pilots wear to protect their eyes from ionizing radiation??
The best thing to do is let people know.
Do not be afraid and do not take any more time !
Remember, time is cells, and you have to tell the person exactly how much they received.
I stay away from x rays and ionizing radiation because of all the x rays I had as a kid and in my 20’s and 30’s, so I can only have Ultrasound.
Remember, this is the only job I have. Just let me know and go from there.
