@Staffordshire Terrier Also even an old CD has around 1.5x/2x the bandwidth (effective bitrate) of an LP. An LP might sound better to some, it's a matter of opinion in the end. You can play CDs through a vacuum tube amp and lose fidelity, but still get something that you like more.
