giving berthas erns is the best move you can make with your offensive erns. it triples how many projectiles they fire, as though it were a shotgun. less accurate, but with 3 attacks, it doesn't NEED to be accurate.
I mean, after getting the ERN portal filled you might actually be right. But there are barely any maps out there with over 6 ERNs. At least I surely don't make these any more.
I swear these just don't get old. I have literally no interest in this game outside of watching Tom play it, I barely even understand what's happening even after watching so many of these. Keep it up Tom!
I found this out when I was trying to figure out what the numbers mean at the top left (the +0 thing) and I know one is for trees but the other one is for the anti creeper right? Sometimes it doesn’t add the anti creeper and I don’t know why or it’s something else idk
I wonder if using the Singularity + Conversion combo would be an effective way to suddenly build up a big pool of AC on those raised areas as a way to initiate setting up more of those mortar islands.
Fun fact: Eggs in contact with a Shield wall do not release their stored creep when shot by a sniper. My usual tactic of dealing with closely grouped clutches of eggs is to leapfrog shields close enough to lift the eggs into the air, then turn on all snipers in range before the eggs hit the ground again. And parking a shield overtop of a Spore Launcher just completely negates any threat is has.
LORD the amount of Bertha's here. Also, I'm wondering why Tom didn't do AC bombers with all the spare blue he had. That said one day Tom will eventually figure out what Damper does cus boi is that helpful against stuff like this with the egg tide.
Kinda late but I agree 100% with the dampers. Locking that creeper in place would've let him push forward with shields to deal with the eggs a lot easier as well as keep all the creeper in the explosion radius of the bertha shells and the rain.
Man, I dunno *how* I would've tackled that last bit. Maybe anticreep would've been a good option?? I do feel like the Berthas weren't worth the economy they required--planes would've probably been better, although it was very fun watching them all fire at once.
I think double convertion rocket (first to trigger the eggs, second to clean up the creep) might have worked. Perhaps the last final bit could have been done more easily with shields

first snipers vs egg_mointain now big berthas vs massive "egg_factory" it's suprising how 20spore/egg launchers . can be as bad . as 10,000ceep/s emitter . . . that's kinda crazy
Not quite that bad, but a base spore tower still produces the same amount of creeper per second using eggs as an base emitter (100/sec) That's 2000 creeper per second. Do note here that most eggs will lay in the creeper and do nothing but slow you down.

If 500 eggs exist, no more can be created until an egg either pops on it's own or is destroyed, or deleted from existence for that matter. This global egg cap can be adjusted to be lower. To answer your question, it depends on the situation whether too many eggs at once is possible, or merely an inconvenience.
Does tom not know that tree areas give a ton of energy? You can see the massive jump before and after at 2:25 and 2:30 on how much energy that corner of trees is giving. Whenever you play these map a lot of mapmakers put tree zones in to give a early energy boost to get defenses up quick
Can you do maps on request, or is that not reasonable with almost 250K subscribers? Congrats on reaching that milestone soon by the way. Do you always make a video when you play CW4, or do you only pick ones that seem interesting for youtube?
Berthas are usually uncapped in CW4 because they are balanced. They take a ton of energy and I'm quite sure they still have normal energy efficiency. MOST maps actually don't give you a gazillion ERNs and a billion energy per second.

other tip : dont build on trees, if a tree is in a towers area it will make that tower produce more energy. this stacks unlimitedly

Guess Tom doesn’t know that trees produce energy. Then again, it’s not really explicitly explained that it is a mechanic of the game.

Tom, try holding CTRL when placing lines of towers, it will snap to only one axis (90 degrees). It's satisfying.
