Smackdown mall dig dig dig dig diggity dog. All those good wrestling games. No mercy, wm2000, vpw 1 and 2, giant gram 2000, fire pro wrestling d and the ps2 version. Games these days dont hold a candle to those ones mentioned.

As others have said, a game is in development. It is being developed by AKI, so I am excited. They were the developer of the N64 wrestling games.

But to be fair the last WWE game I actually enjoyed was 2k14, all went downhill after that
@@LordRaptor Oh god, 12 was beyond broken, but I still played it and had fun with it back in the day, something I can't say for any of the games after 14, to me from 15 onwards the games have lost its heart, I coudn't really enjoy them anymore, I still haven't played anything after 17, but at this point I don't think I'm missing much xD
Nowadays I still like to go back to HCTP and SvR07 as to me they still hold up amazingly well.

Funnily enough, if your not connected to the internet, you can’t earn the Blue in game currency used to buy superstars. Which means, if you buy this game used, years down the line, after the servers shut down, you can’t play as ANYBODY.

This looks like it was originally supposed to be a free-to-play mobile game until 2K21 got canceled. I have no idea if that's the case, but it sure looks and plays like it.

I had my doubts about 2K Battlegrounds, and it seems I was correct. This game is a budget title with annoying microtransactions and subpar gameplay. Sorry, but I'll take All Stars over this hollow thing.
Well they did lie on the microtransactions part with the crates they said "no no no there was no microtransactions " and now here we are...they lied but at least this game did one thing correct...they have the fiend unlocked for you already
so why does this game look like a early 2005 experimental game by a publisher who was running out of ideas.
This is no All Stars of course, but it’s a step in the right direction for something truly fun.
I’ve had a lot of fun with this since last week.

That’s disappointing. When I saw the trailer, I thought there was a chance of this one being decent.
8:28 "I'll be your End of Days" was also the beginning to Wade Barrets intro music for a while. So it makes me think the guys who made this got Corbin and Barrett confused, as would make since since there is Impact wrestling stuff in the game that theyre being sued for.
Tessa Blanchard somehow got herself in the game and then, it all led to legal issues in terms of likenesses and appearances of an individual being used for commercial purposes without permission
All they needed to do was just give this game the All-Stars grapple system and moves along with a pin system that actually works and it could have been something. 😪

This game feels like a fighting game more than a wrestling game. Still think it's kinda fun, though, when I don't compare it to other WWE games.

wwf smackdown!(ps1), here comes the pain, svr 2007-2008 and rumble roses are my favorite wrestling games. can't say I've enjoyed any wwe 2k game nearly as much, and that's me saying with the nostalgia goggles off since I've played them again very recently alongside wwe 2k17 and 19.
