Italian citizens can arrive at Ireland without a visa.Please note that Ireland is not party to the Schengen Agreement, and a Schengen visa or residence permit does not entitle you to travel to Ireland without a visa. I'd advice you to go to Republic of Ireland, not to Northern Ireland. Northern Ireland would be much more difficult, visa process for you. Your situation is little bit complicated, so you should contact the Irish migration office, As I know, the students allow to work 20hours per week, which is not enough to survive in Ireland with all family. Hi aiya, i am an university student in Sri lanka. I am doing a project management special degree in a private university. My English is really good. Do you think i will be able to get a job in ireland after graduating? I am a female. So, if i come there alone would i be able to handle things without any problem?

Hi! Nangi. Yes, Ireland is great country, peoples are friendly. Be careful, when you find an apartment. Before you booked for long time, first you go there, look with your eyes, meet house mates, neighbourhoods.. There a lot of scammers; sex predators. Until you will find apartment you can live B&b , Air b&b, o hostels. You might be able to find job. Northern Ireland is little bit cheap than Republic of Ireland, Dublin is nice city, but it's very expensive. The negative aspects I would say 1) weather 2) living cost so expensive 3) house issue, difficult to find reasonable price, you should live far fron Dublin 4,5 4) transport system is not good, bus; train expensive. 5) medical insurance need, 6) car insurance expensive. However everything you can manage with your salary. Wish you all the best. If you live Cork o small small city , far from Dublin, everything would be less expensive. ( also salary would be less than Dublin)

Hi Gimhani, your question is not satisfactorily answered by Gihan De Silva. Re employment in Ireland: there are shortages in certain sectors in the job market. Currently the country is experincing workers in the connstruction and hospitality sector. Keep an eye on Employment in Ireland. Ireland is in the EU, so the EU citizens have no prblem in securing a job in Ireland as long as an individual has professional/vocational qualifications. As I mentioned in an earlier post, Gihan's information is not totally accurate. I am not trying to put you off. A Sri Lankan getting a job in the Republic of Ireland without due process (eligibility, professional qualification, recognistion of qualification and so on) is an invidious task.

There are multitude of inaccuracies in your presentation. Very misleading. For example, your comments on the quality of housing are baseless. There are ancient castles and stately homes that are still standing and being used for resideency as well as in hospitality sector viz. 5 star hotels, golf courses and so on. New homes are built to comply with strict regulationas to meet different weather conditions, safety and standards. You say that a cost of a home can be 'laksa 350k..." Is that in SL Rupees or Euros? if it is the latter, then you are wrong. Of course, property market in a city is much greater than properties outside a city. For an example, a 3-bedroom house within the radius of 30 miles from Dublin City can be found from Euro 215,000 upwards. Re car insurance, you make another sweeping generalisation. I drive a 2011 Audi A6, and a full comprehensive annual policy comes to about E500, including an extra named drive. Your biggest problem is comparing Italy to Ireland. Remember that the salaries in Ireland are better than that of Italy. Although I am critical of your 'facts and observations' on certain matters, you do well in the history and other aspects of Ireland. Ther is huge room for improvement though. Remember to double-check the verasity of information. Good luck.
hi ! brother. I will update one video asp. Everything I said base on my personal experience, opinion, been lived in Eu 31 years, travelling, reading and research. In Ireland salary is little bit high than Italy. But everything expensive than Italy too. We have some free benefit, such as medical, Energency, family doctor, Ambulance are free of charge. Ireland has some negative aspects too. 1) weather is bad 2) transformation system is not good and expensive 3) food is horrible
this is in my vision and my opinion brother. Even in Switzerland, the best country to live in the world, Has some negative aspects. In my opinion Switzerland is perfect, but I feel nostalgic and malinconic .
