Stop helping the spread of misinformation…. The $750 is for initial necessities and not all that the victims will get. Telling people that only adds to the issues there and helps nobody , people will get more assistance as they need it and it is NOT A LOAN!!! Please do better and tell the truth about that part.

@@Gentryandsons$750 is the INITIAL amount that is given to all disaster victims by FEMA which was raised from the previous amount of $500. More was requested but congress shut down the bill last session. Do I think it’s not enough? Yes! But I believe the way it is portrayed is that FEMA is not trying to help or just sitting around with their thumb “you know where” but that is not the case. They are doing the best they can in which the congress has allowed them.

I used to hike in Elk Park.
My point is, I know this area you are in...i know the backroads and how bad they are....before Helene.
You are doing amazing work, thank you for the great video work and showing us how these small hollars have weathered the storm. Mountain people are a strong bunch. A country boy may survive, but a mountain man will thrive! These mountains just got a whole lot better for the true anti societal human. The woods are still safer than any city...just ask people in Asheville. BUT, you need to be old school minded to truly experience the freedom.
I will take my humble broken shack over a condo ANY DAY.

I live here in Western NC. God bless you! We would come for you too! It’s heartbreaking what happened here but, Jesus is here, in our hearts! He is telling us to love one another. I’m listening to helicopters over my house 9 days later of people helping! We are simple people and a lot of the homes were simple homes. Cinderblock homes floated away. Some people’s land is gone. Down the mountain. Our schools have children who died and families that have nothing. All we really have in this world is Jesus and others. We must rejoice in that.

They are sending more money to Lebanon instead of routing it to these families in immediate need. On the plus side, I love how the locals have come together to help each other out. Gives me hope for our nation and distrust of our government agencies.

This is the main thing i love about our country. When a disaster happens THE EVERYDAY AVERAGE PERSON ( NOT THE GOVERNMENT) step up to help one another and will literally take the shirts off their backs to give to the next person. Im tearing up cause im so thankful for people like yourself.
We get tornados here in TN every yr and the second it hits you have people up immediately flooding the areas with chainsaws and help rescue others and are so selfless. When We got hit by a flood here in Nashville in 2010 people stepped up and when the December 2023 tornado hit my town here in Madison TN we were up immediately to help others. I listened to sirens wailing all night through the night non stop until daylight. The mountains are a beast so tha k you for all those helping out and risking their lives.
I wish more people like you would be in charge of your country! I seen the horror after Nola, but this is worse, it's such a vast area!!!

I just had a guy this morning on one of my videos arguing with me about the government being there. I know what I saw and it isn't anything like the news is saying as far as government agencies being present ... At least in the area I was in

I've been thru Several Floods , Irene was the Worst 2011 , Took out my Bridge , no Way in or Out for 2 weeks , until water went down enough and help to lay decking down to get cars out , 3 months crossing a Walk bridge , to get in or out , $75,000 replacement bridge Still paying ! I feel for every last one of them ! Praying for you ALL

It's awesome what your doing. Wish I was in a spot to be able send some to help. We hauling rock over Green Mountain, Nc with company i work for & it's bad there to. Back side of Erwin is the mtn & up, over, down & it flooded the entire community on the backside & Erwin.
