You're welcome! Yeah, I think this really is the easiest method. It is a bit of trial and error but working with it as one solid line of text is definitely the easiest in my opinion.

This is too freaky that I was searching youtube trying to find out how to do this in inkscape because I knew there was a way to put text on a path. After several videos only one was useful. Then a few hours later your video popped up in my feed. THIS IS PERFECT!!! Your video is sooo much better and descriptive. I swear sometimes you are a Godsend. Thank you Thank you Thank you.

Hi! No, Cricut Design Space does not yet have the capability to manipulate the path in the way you need to create this effect.

Can this be done in canva?

So after creating this in Inkscape, how do we save it to use? Does it get saved as an SVG? I have a Cricut and use Design Space.

      Hi!
It really depends on the image you put the text around. The text itself can be saved as a SVG to use in design space since we turned the text into a path. If the design you put the text around was not an SVG then there are several other steps you'd need to turn it into an SVG. It's too much to put into a comment but you could search how to turn png to svg and get some tutorials on how to do it.
You could also just export the entire design as a PNG and use it as a print then cut with Cricut. To export, just go to "file" then "export as PNG".

Hi! I actually didn't design that file. I got it pre-made from Creative Fabrica. I just wrapped the text around it.

Hi! Unfortunately no. This is not something that can be done within Canva.
