Yes, I do remember the JJ, My loose news & pams came from South up to Ellesmere port. Near the bitter end companies didn't didn't like bulk tippers, said we tipped over
too much, Walking floors were coming in, was it a change for the better James.

We had 2 tiny walking floors and maybe 4 Ali bulk tip-pers that had greedy boards for loose news and pams or sawdust or woodchips, boards could bring your payload up near to 28 tons. My steel body could only get 26 tons. I remember the art James was to half-load, stand on those heaps, and lift those boards up, be careful when empty dropping those boards down. Yes, your poor old back mate.
They ran some smart Scania 3 series a bit battard just owing to the work they did I can remember a lot about them crossing the pickets in the 80s but I suppose they did what they had to do

And just to tip the scales!Young Biff always specced a good motor, you posted his ERF 8 wheeller 525! Then he got Scania to build him an 8 wheeler V8! Cudos! I knoew the daily driver of that thing, He now drives a 730 arctic! They say theres no ladder in this job, but in my mind, if your driving a V8 Scania, youve gotten somewhere, and please, all you Volvo wannabees, you still wont and ever get it! lol
