You will probably not think so anymore after i tell you this, but anyway. In the cutscene, when mad Mita throws you kind Mita's head, her head on the floor is laughing with evil smile, you can see this via photomode

@ she is not laughing, she is smiling, to me i interpreted that as either she knowing the MC is ok but also because she thinks they still won since she got the code, which makes that smile very sad since in her final moment she thought she managed to help you win, but she couldn't have known that the code was never going to work in the first place

But nevertheless she can't be fully trusted,the fact that crazy mita should have the ring (in the kitchen counter before it disappears,replaced by cooking ingredients) and the map loading while she is still in prison. That undoubtedly is suspicious as heck
