    I just ordered one of these from J&P cycles...should be a game changer on my 2006 V-Rod. New sub! Thanks!

      They are very bright I like mine. It does way better than the stock headlight for sure. And make sure it’s adjusted properly that made a world of difference with mine.

    Looks good mate, I had trouble with the top one myself, then it vibrated loose and it came out had to replace it with a Phillips head which is much easier to get to and tighten up.

      Fairing is plastic. The light alignment was way off it was raining tonight so I have to shoot the end of the alignment video tomorrow and hopefully get it up right away. Ride On!!!!

    I have a 2012 blackline. For the life of me, I can't fit the light in there with the 2 plugs in the back. They are too large. No matter how I position it, the light hits the plugs

    • @MotorcyclingwithCarl
      @MotorcyclingwithCarl  4 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Yes I remember struggling a bit with the plugs myself when I did it. Good luck hopefully you can get it in or find something that fits. Thanks for watching and commenting I appreciate it.

      @MotorcyclingwithCarl I ended up cutting the plug and wiring it direct. Now I'm trying to stop the light from vibrating. Does the rubber mount fit in there with the halo light? I took mine out because it didn't look like it was going to work. Maybe I should take it apart again and try it

    Where did you find the low profile fairing for your Harley. I have 2020 Sportster Roadster.

    • @MotorcyclingwithCarl
      @MotorcyclingwithCarl  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      That actually came stock on the iron 1200. I want to change it to a little larger Memphis Shades screen. That one basically is for looks it does nothing. If you go on the highway you take everything it wears you out.

      Motorcycling with Carl I like the low profile look of it.

    Any plans for LED on the signals or do you already have them? I'm a big fan of the LED signals and dark smoke lenses from Rogue Rider that I have on mine.

    • @MotorcyclingwithCarl
      @MotorcyclingwithCarl  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      No plans yet for the LED signals and brake lights. I will have to ease my wife into it just bought this headlight and a new GoPro lol. Ride On!!!!

    How is this light still holding up?

  • @jamiefetter5251
    @jamiefetter5251 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    Did u have a gap between the headlight and the cowl at the bottom once you put it all together

    • @MotorcyclingwithCarl
      @MotorcyclingwithCarl  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      It all stayed the same just like it was stock. Nothing changed. I have since removed that and put on a Memphis shades Del Rio and I very highly recommend that what a difference it makes and its very easy to take on and off if you don’t want it on.
