So with your files servers you have also added 10gb vdhx and another 1tb vhdx to the domain controller. Making it the target server. In your previous video DC was the initiator
During Cluster creation process i've not the choice of Cluster IP Address... I can name it but the table that grant IP cluster assignement are not displayed on my MMC Cluster windows.
can you make all the failover cluster setup lick always on SQL one and its all type of troubleshooting can be done and also teach us checking up the cluster logs. and their cmdlets. AOG cluster as well
I recreated the same configuration settings you used to set this lab. After creating everything in tye right way. When i was trying to connect the target server from initiator using quick connect. I was getting error as - Service Unavailable. So i looked in event viewer saw this error message. It was related to iscsiprt event id 10 Something related with login request failed There was no mistake in chap authentication. Except getting this error repeatedly whenever trying to connect. Any ideas!
In the lab, I used the domain administrator account to log in to all the servers. Make sure to use the domain administrator account, not the local administrator account, to log in to the member servers.
@MSFTWebCast I created additional domain admin account. But could this be a reason that. I used the main administrator account on domain controller for making it the target and used the domain admin account to configure the initiators?
Always you are providing excellent video. Thanks Brother !!
Thank You.
Very nice video. I'm going to try it in my lab. Thank you.

So when configuring failover clustering the member servers should not be the iscsi target servers, we make them the initiators only!
Right??
Right. The iscsi target server will be different machine.
@@MSFTWebCast Thanks!

Thank You for the sub.
Why don't you create and use a computer account in Active Directory instead of relying on a disk?
Yes, we can use it, but I’d like to show you this method instead.
Haven't shared any notes
It's called "commandlet, not "see-em-deeleeet"…
