Hello, thank you for your lessons! I have a question regarding finger placement on the strings. Lets say I’m practicing a scale on the A string, my fingers sometimes slightly touch the D string. Is that okay, or should I aim for my fingers to only touch the string I’m practicing on?
There is nothing wrong with blocking a neighboring string when playing scales. In fact this is a common muting technique. The important thig about the scale exercise is to aim for the fingertips and play near the frets. When playing chords you will want to roll up more on the fingertips to avoid blocking notes. Hope thins helps and thanks for watching.
I love the video! Thanks for the helpful teaching !
All these lessons are amazing and almost forensic in their attention to detail. Many thanks.
Very helpful practises 👌
