Hey buddy, I just wanted to share something cool with you and your subscribers. Today VITAVON just released an all aluminum front brake caliper for the promoto mx. It looks amazing. And no I don't work for VITAVON lol 😆. I'm just as excited to share information about this promoto as everyone else is . I found VITAVON from ordering their swing arm. And when it came I was hooked on their company. The design is so much better than anything else on the market. I have had a great experience getting to know them . And everything I've ordered came earlier than was stated . Have fun stay cool 😎 I like and subscribed .

@@Eric_Rides The secret is don't let off the throttle in the air 😉 lol It takes time to get use to it for sure! I've learned breaking into the corner then getting back on the throttle at the right time helps a lot, especially if the front brake is set up right it will turn on a dime! Can't wait to see more races!!!
@@EJ-74your 100% correct. Learning when to get back on the gas in the turns is what people will need to learn. And staying on the throttle in the air is the move. It was my bike in this unboxing, everything in practice and the crash fest of a race was box stock settings. I ran another pack through it yesterday and messed with some settings (not at the track unfortunately) but I was practicing a lot of turning. Fast, slow, sweepers, tight turns just trying to get that feel. These will be awesome with more time!
Lol seems like it, I’ve not seen this many in one place anywhere else. Our local hobbytown got 4 in, they got snatched up by track regulars, got wind that the hobbytown an hour away had 2 and my brother was waiting at the door when they opened and snatched them for me and him. Glad he did, it sounds like I would’ve been waiting a while for Amain to get my preorder. They are super fun though. Hopefully you guys can get your hands on one soon.
Muscle memory makes you want to hit the brakes in the air like other RCs. that's the wrong move with these things. There is a lot to unlearn to get these things going but the potential is there, just some figuring out to do.
Jumping them is a little weird. They want the front end to dive (from the engine drag brake is my guess). If you touch the brakes at all it front flips. I was one of the bikes in the video, it was mine that he unboxed at the track. Lots of learning still to do but there is potential there.
@@MrGeorge426fYa gotta stay on the throttle in the air then break as you're entering the corner, I've had the old Ricky Carmichael dirt bike for over 25 + years, it took a while to get the hang of it but once I did that thing was a blast, I'm thinking about upgrading all the electronics to the electronics out of the the Pro moto, except the gyro because the gyro in my bike is in the rear tire, I Wonder if I could fit the gyro out of the pro moto, would 2 gyros make it better maybe 🤔
@@MrGeorge426f when landing and hitting the brakes is it flipping ? Is there a trim button on radio for front brake adjustment? I hear ya about the gyro.
@@blizsgarage8487 I don’t think that it is flipping from getting the front brake too hard. I don’t think that the front brake grabs hard enough to lock it up. But possibly if it’s locking right before it hits the ground. I’ve successfully and cleanly made it around the track and looked good in every section. It’s just hard to put it all together for a whole lap multiple laps. Just gotta put more time in.

There’s a device that can be used to strengthen the braking system there is a TH-cam video on it. The issue I see here is not strong enough braking. But also they can’t keep over shooting the jumps like other rc cars 1 skinny tire vs 4 big difference.
Always too much power on the jumps and too much speed into the corners... slow is fast with these things.. I still don't know if you can put transponders on them.
Yeah we’re a few races in now and people have definitely slowed down. I just had my first losi MX Saturday. It is definitely a big learning curve, this video was from the 1st race. Not the most ideal but it’s doable once we figure these things out. The track owner is open to making adjustments for the bikes though. We are going to hold off and see where we are still having problems even after we have figured these things out.

My tyco rc Jeremy McGrath bike a had as a kid took a beating and that was a toy grade lol but these will probably take a lot more

yeah, defiantly a learning curve lol I think they were hitting the brakes being used to running 4x2s and 4x4s at our track.
May be we need heavier wheels and tires.

You can run transponders, we run track mate transponders. Just put a small hole in the top fender and tape under the front fender is what most did.
On the tripple put a lip on the first and platau from there...
Anyone gonna play with shock oil and stuff ??? Interested to see if that helps any

I would prefer to see wider lanes slower speeds and less tumbles. The high speed is not attracting me to watch. Smooth nice riding would be greatest.

Yea this has some work that need to be done before we can race with these I'll get the new model when it come out
