I like these talks when youtubers hone in on the audience. The forth wall can be used for comedy, yes, but pushing parasocial boundaries can make the audience feel endeared and special. It's why I love commentary, and it's why I like Jschlatt's content and him as an internet personality.

I don't think Schlatt realizes just how important he is. When he says shit like, "When was the last time I brought comfort to anyone?" it makes me have to laugh, because that was like, a day ago for me man. I understand that the human nature nowadays is to assume that you're not important, or that others don't need you, so this is why I say this. Normally I'm not an emotional guy, but Schlatthew has inspired me to create my own youtube stuff, which should drop soon by the way, and he has shaped my sense of humor in such a way that people actually think I'm funny now. I have to thank him for that too. You've changed my life Big Guy, and even though I'm insecure that I'm not tall enough, I would refer to myself proudly as a small man anyday.

It was honestly really nice to see Schlatt reveal some inspirations, even if I had already picked up on them. Sips, and a lot of the other Yogscast guys, were a big part of my childhood, and as I discovered Schlatt seeing him really pick up on Sips' character in his minecraft stuff was interesting.
