I wasn't sure about how I felt D Wayne Lucas over the years despite the success he has had.. After seeing this and hearing his philosophy, I am now a fan for life. I can relate to him because I too am self taught in training.
Wayne Lucas is the all time greatest! He made horse racing what it is today! Leave horses and horse racing for the real horsemen! and all the self righteous people find somewhere else to wave their flags!
My horse Market Trend foaled Apr. 30, 2009....his trainers never took him out of the claiming races. He is certainly fast enough. He bowed in his last race Aug 7, 2015. He was suppose to be crippled for life. I bought him anyway. I use 707essentials 6 in 1 joint formula & hoof formula. Today all of his damaged is nearly healed . I am retraining him to event. A pedigree like his is rare indeed. He is a champ & I intend to prove it. Thanks to 707 essentials.
@J G He is a jumper !.. Today he is completely sound. When I bought him..he was in terrible shape. He weighed 1000 lbs. He had the disposition from hell !.. He was 16.3hh 78" long . Today he is 17.2hh, 85" long & 1567 lbs...I ride him bareback...He is a completely different horse from the Hot Mess that I bought. I really love 707...they made my boy healthy & sound.
There's a lot of debate about who is the greatest living trainer these days. Well it's the "COACH" He's done it all, changed the game and his assistants have gone on to success on their own from being mentored by him! There is no debate He's a slam dunk.
