Well the original version is in E minor and the amy version is in F. That's not a huge difference in musical scale but it really makes a difference when you listen to it.
I learned by ear but yes the original version is better! The original is in Standard Tuning and the one with Amy Lee and Shaun Morgan both is in E Flat tuning or half a step down
This isn't the true original version, but it sounds close enough to it that most probably won't know the difference. This is the remixed version found on Disclaimer II. The true original version is the last track of Disclaimer and has a more raw/less produced sound to it. The differences aren't that obvious until you A/B them. This is the best version IMO.

Saw this preformed live in OKC at the zoo in 2010...I didn't care for Seether before I saw them in person...show was amazing.
