LOVE the puppy "new kid" you glued in. 🐶🥰 Great glue book, and I enjoyed this session. 😊👍 wow! that's a heavy book! *LOL!* cool. 😄 You too, Have a great weekend. (hope your flare up won't be too bad, and that it'll stop fast).
I feel for you as I have fibromyalgia and epilepsy so I totally understand the speech thing. You find such cool words for your pages, I was going through a few magazines today and just don't seem to find many. I just recently discovered your channel and have also joined your facebook group. Thank you for your inspiring tutorials.
I got too excited that I guessed the weight correctly haha. I think this is one of my favourite glue books of yours. There's just something about it that I love! Hope you're feeling better! Jackson is so sweet thinking he would hurt you, bless him. Also I am annoyed again that we don't have a dollar tree here. They need to bring that piece of paper out in a pad. It is fabulous. Love the atc backgrounds you made!
Nicole: you certainly have a talent to use very unusual cut outs together. They always end up looking good. This glue book is very intriguing. Enjoy it immensely. Carol from California
I love the fact you never fill a page but come back to it when you've found something to fill it. I'm always in a rush to complete, I Just need to slow down and wait. Still learning 😃
Love what you do in your books and listening to you talk. you inspire me to do a glue book and try other things but my trouble is putting images on paper. You make your journals and seem like the images belong together.
Those “word optional” days suck… (Lupus over here - flares cause a lot of the same symptoms across a lot of connective tissue issues.) And as hard as we all try to have a normal life - our illness is not just ours…the family is included. As my kids have gotten older - they have really started to understand me pushing through flares when I shouldn’t have.
I have been obsessed with my color glue book, thanks to you 😅 Still in the beginning stages, so lots of backgrounds and stuff. It might take me the rest of my life to finish and mags are scarce round these parts 😢
Everyone I know, no matter their age or health, is having "finding my words troubles", (myself included) personally, I think a good bit of it is leftover from lockdown and ongoing self isolation. Even though I talk a lot to myself (a lot!), my beastlies and the camera...actual conversations, live and in person with a live body are few and far between. Like any other skill if you don't use it, ya' lose it. Good news is that with practice and with patience, it can come back.
My favorite not expensive magazine is Mantra Wellness- BEST words ever and great articles and art. Love it! Glad you shared how you got the Rock out with your Nip Out.... I was wondering what magazine it might have been from..... LOL
Hi Nicole. I looked in the description of your video. I did not see a link for the metal corners you often use on your gluebooks. Thank you in advance. And thank you for sharing. Your voice is so calming. And I love you sense of humor.
We have to be related! I have the same fear of being late. My dad taught me at a young age that if you arrive on time then you are late. I’m always at least 10 minutes early 😂
Yes, the Fibro Fog...awful.😐 I hope you feel betta soon. I want a JACKSON! The worst thing for a person with numerous incurable illnesses and chronic severe pain; is to live alone. I do, and I just love Jackson even though I have never met him! Not just because he helps you, but because of his sense of humor, his thoughtfulness, his brains, good manners, funny, etc. You have one great family and I love to hear you talk about them😀 I tried to take a short cut home the other day and got MEGA lost! It ended up good though because on the corner of " who knows where", was a $Tree!! I of course went in AND they had LOTS of NEW WASHI TAPE! So I picked up 7/8 new ones for my Rainbow G.B. Some were solids and some prints. Thought I was seeing things! The $Trees around me NEVER have any new Washi. Been the same ones for over 5 yrs.!Also new stickers, bakers twine, lots in Crafters Square products, all new, different. Hope I can find my way back!😆😂😅. Your book looks terrific! Thanks for the update!
Incase anyone wants to check it out, Birds and Blooms is $7 for 1 year and $13 for 2 years right now. I think it says it will renew in 2 years at the same $13 price. Tfs. Hope you feel better! Hugs
Hi Norma! I don’t buy magazine subscriptions, 99% of my magazines are free. I ask friends, family & neighbors to save their old magazines for me. Even my hairdresser keeps magazines for me. I also look for free magazines on Facebook marketplace, or the next door app. If I don’t see any for free I just ask, and see if anyone has any. Your local library often has them for very very inexpensive, if not free as well. I hope that helps!
I realize that even when I want to get clutter in my pages I can’t do it. I try several plan on it an then I put a few images and boom am done. It make more difficult to collage when you are like that In my opinion
Nicole, have you been tested for MS? I am sorry to tell you that Fibro does not cause those symptoms you speak of. MS does. Memory, not talking right, going inward inside yourself. Mobility, muscle jumping. Pain around your middle like someone squeezing you, called an MS Hug. Electrical current if you bend your head forward and vision issues plus more. That confusion you get with your speech is NOT Fibro. I have MS honey, a lot of what you describe sounds very familiar. If you decide to be looked at for a possible diagnosis, here is what they will do: MRI of Brain, that is where they usually spot it and if the spine. MS Panel with Spinal Tap, you can't do one without the other. Labs, they will look at B12/Folic Acid, Vitamin D and a host of DNA blood work, along with Rheumatoid and Lupus will both get run. HIV will get run along with syphilis. B12 and D are large culprits with our symptoms. Both of those can cause flares as well. Mine were both extremely low. I do B12 injections at home and take prescription D by mouth 1 time a week, 50,000 units. Who diagnosed you? Did you tell them of all your symptoms? The more I hear you talk about these flares, the more it goes away from Fibro and sounds more like MS or Lupus. If I can help someone find it out early enough instead of what happened to me, the better. No doctor would take me seriously and still have issues with that. Found a Neuro finally who did all the tests needed and I forced him to listen to everything that was bothering me. Unfortunately at the time I was getting ready to ship you something, it caused my heart to have trouble and ended up in the hospital for awhile and now have CHF. But early stages with that. Controlling the fluid build up is hard and scary. But I have MS that is in no type of control yet. I don't want to see you go through this with the older you get. Pls talk to your specialist about all your symptoms Ok? Promise me you will do that. I adore you and love love your TH-cam channel and you made me realize how much I love Glue Booking. You are funny and lively and spicy with your personality. My kind of friend!! Wishing your flare a short one. OH! LYRICA!!! That works well for both nerve pain and flares and sleep. It will help relax your mind. Things to talk with the doc about.
Id love a flip through when its all done.. Love how this book is coming out.. A flip through video of your books would be awesome as well..

P.s. how do I find your community tab??
Where do you get your magazines. I don't want to subscribe to a bunch of magazines. Any suggestions. Thanks
