I visited Universal’s Aventura Hotel on property at Universal Orlando Resort Florida.
I give a full and honest resort review where unfortunately I left VERY disappointed.

Cabana Bay is full of kids and you have to play a life or death version of Frogger to get across the street (unless you want to take the mile long Garden Walk). Aventura is more relaxed. Very few kids and you have easy access to take the boat to the parks. That means you don’t have to take a bus and you get to skip the chaotic parking deck security entrance.
‘Life or death version of frogger’ made me laugh 🤣🤣. I completely hear what you’re saying 👍 I appreciate Aventura is loved by many. I can only review as I find it, I’m a parent with two young boys so we might look at it from different perspectives (which I should probably mention more in my reviews 👍)
@@OrlandowithPete Ah, totally understandable as Cabana is MUCH better for kids.
If your without kids or have older kids this place is perfect, we found Cabana Bay far too busy for our liking, much prefer the relaxed style of hotel and quick walk to the water taxi for the parks
It’s totally unfair to start ranking a hotel that you haven’t even stayed at. We have booked Aventura precisely for the reason that not much is going on. When we stayed at Cabana Bay facilities such as the pool were far too busy. Some people actually like to get away from theming after a fun day of it in the park. Just because it’s not what you are looking for does not mean it isn’t meeting the needs of others
With exception of the first but I actually agree with most of what you have said….its all about opinion and I reviewed it as I found it. To be fair, that being said, I do intend to go and stay there and review again and probably think about it more from different travellers perspectives but for me, for my feelings, I was very disappointed.
