With exception of the first but I actually agree with most of what you have said….its all about opinion and I reviewed it as I found it. To be fair, that being said, I do intend to go and stay there and review again and probably think about it more from different travellers perspectives but for me, for my feelings, I was very disappointed. There was no resort charge but there was a charge for car parking p/night around $22

I think I’m more a universal fan these days but Disney holds my nostalgia from visiting as a kid. MK is a super park, the layout for me is the best and a good mix of rides 👍

Pop is a great location for a value resort, hope you have a super trip!! I’ve never stayed on site at Disney but Pop would be one of my first choices 😃

@@OrlandowithPete nor had I till last year. I got dining credits so it really was when you compare the prices of other hotels a better deal……and it has the skyliner 😍

Yep, it was last May when I was there. Only had a 1 day pass but managed 3 parks starting at 8am and ending at 10pm - long day but was worth it 👍

I find the hulk gives me a sore head if I’m at the back, much prefer the front so I question for front row and it’s awesome ☺️

Yep still the same, I believe it is policy at the Rosen Inn chain not to have resort fees 😄😄

I’d say it’s the closest offsite hotel to Universal which I always enjoy

The sandwich shop was delicious - there are quite a few good quick service options next to it also 😀

Tough question - it’s certainly a nicer hotel the Aventura (IMO) must be said I have only visited the Aventura and not stayed but I wasn’t a fan based on that 1 visit - I will try to re-visit and stay to see if I think different. the main perk with RPR and what you pay extra for is the express passes. For the same luxury but a cheaper price tag I would consider Saphire Falls…I’ve a review video on that which is worth checking out. I don’t think I’d be paying for 2 weeks at RPR, although depends on how wealthy you are. Value for money for me is Saphire falls yet with the same luxury and if you want express passes a few days you could purchase separate or book a couple night at RPR. Hope that helps 😃

@@OrlandowithPete definitely will consider that I only just came back last Sunday we stayed at cabanya bay , I’m now interested in something much nicer ; but not crazy money We did go in sapphire falls for a meal and the hotel is amazing and ain’t much more then cabanya and aventura I did stay at aventura last September for 3 weeks and it was good , but lacks theming So sapphire falls it is next!

Hi, the rooms at DT Universal are all fairly similar. I imagine you will have a standard double queen room. Even the so called upgrade rooms are only a little more spacious and/or a corner room. I’ve stayed in 2 or 3 room formats and found them to be much the same. I think it’s a great hotel for a universal visit and I’d stay again 👍👌

There are a few more travel day vlogs on my channel for you to watch!! I love hitting a park on travel day, I go for very short trips so try to make the most of it!! The hulk is good to feel awake 🤣

A Walmart would be a drive or Uber away, there is a Walgreens within a 5 minute works for some essentials

It was actually really nice, fast and quick so a perfect lunch whilst getting a break from the parks

If you visit more than once a year it’s a no brainer, great value from Universal - I couldn’t visit so much otherwise. I’m sure it works out for Universal too with AP holders visiting lots and spending lots in the parks, everyone wins 😀

@OrlandowithPete 2 weeks with my 9yr old son, his first visit. Me and wife haven't been since 2015

My wife and I honeymooned there in 2015, had a great time. A few changes since COVID but still an amazing place. I think it will be better taking kids, hopefully I’ll get to take my boys soon. Have a super holiday 👍
