NithiSh JVJ chances are! But even as layman we know with experience that a hyundai clutch isnt hard, happened to drive a 75,000 kms driven i20 diesel which had a stock butter smooth clutch just like ur experience . Hence I find this review biased .
@@ashu0102 Verna 1.6 CRDI will smoke the city ivtech . The only engine which can beat Verna ( in-gear acceleration) performance is the VW 1.5 TDi . But none of the diesels can hold a candle to 1.6D especially in refinement or straight line acceleration.
I used to drive honda city diesel quite often... it got almost zero turbo lag...where here u guys telling it having lot of turbo lag and need frequent gear shifts while driving...Also the 0-100 timing given here is above 14 secs... which is not... it's in the range under 12 secs...only relevant point is the noisy engine which u mentioned here...urban drivability of the city is unbeatable...it also got short gear ratios...looks like a biased review...
Turbo lag in city? Honda's diesel might be not the most refined but the drivability of that engine is way high. There's no turbo lag u don't feel it as power delivery is very linear.
Ciaz centric review I agree with most of it as I drive a Ciaz .....but City petrol is the best no one comes closer to city petrol and Verna diesel is best in segment if you are looking for a cheaper option and big car go for ciaz
Rapid is not a hot seller perhaps that's why they didn't include it However I think rapid monte carlo is one of the best looking sedan at this price segment
Yesterday I took test drives of both ciaz 1.5 petrol and Honda city I thought city would be better but but but..... Ciaz engine performance... refinement and the pickup is just far better than Honda city... If u don't trust me just go and take test drives of both ciaz pickup is superb as compared to city .even the suspension of city is not better than ciaz and even it feels jerky at low revs ... I'm going with ciaz and now it's not teen ka daba just go and watch safety rating .. just clear your myths thanku 😎🤘

I own a ciaz petrol and Verna Petrol , hence I've TD all C-Segment (except Yaris) , both diesel and Petrol ones. Ciaz drives like a garbage truck (not that I've driven one), is underpowered, poor handling and is built like a cardboard box. The cabin is poorly put up and there is nothing good to say about the ciaz except for the rear leg room and better FE. I won't suggest anyone to get a ciaz unless they are chauffeur driven and don't mind bad ride quality. The verna on the other hand looks and feels so upmarket, has oodles of power and torque and is an absolute joy to ride.
The reviewer has already decided to give ciaz full mark even before the review. I have honda city diesel, its engine even though not the best is a very good engine and it has the Honda quality.

Turbo lag in Honda City???I do not agree to that. The driveability of idtec engine is very good. The problem is it is very noisy and redlines at 4000 rpm while other two can be taken up to 5000 rpm.
What makes you think ciaz needs traction control?. It barely has enough power to move. Verna with its stupid 1.6ltr engine puts it right into the highest end of the insurance premium bracket. So you'll always end up paying 6k per year extra for insurance for just being 100cc extra.
@@forever_momentss read the whole thing. Just 100cc more puts it in category 3 insurance bracket. So around 8k extra insurance premium per year just in insurance. Engine needs to be either 1.5ltr or 2ltr.
If you're looking to create an advertisement for Ciaz. There are better ways for that. Ciaz's body can't handle any power. That's why it's underpowered. In all means, it's far below the other two. Expecting better reviews from Zigwheels!
A biased review towards Ciaz. Seriously Ciaz comes nowhere when compared with Honda City and Verna. These two are class apart. If you are looking for handling , mileage and spacious cabin then definitely Honda City is best. If you are looking for Luxury and performance then Verna is better. But no one can match the mileage of City. I have one and it gives me around 23-26kmpl in highway and 19kmpl in normal traffic conditions. Fun to drive and total stability in high speed .😀
