Their “Pressure” and “Someone like me”. Their videos are also satire of different music genres. Ylvis is Norwegian comedy duo consisting of brothers Vegard and Bård Ylvisåker.
Remember they are a comedy group, and not to be taken too seriously.
But they usually have good quality videos, and catchy music.
Yes, as anotherone suggested, PRESSURE is awsome, aswell as Jan Egeland and Stonehenge ! Please react more to Ylvis!
Ylvis always has super high-quality production, no matter what genre they parody. And they almost never fail to do it better than the originals! Two Norwegian brothers who did these songs for their TV talk show years ago (only one brother in this song, tho). There are TONS of Ylvis fans out there, so hopefully some of them find this! Glad you liked it. But, honestly, they're too good to resist. ❤
The song that made them a hit - What Does the Fox Say - is currently at 1.1 Billion views! And, ironically, it's one of the only two really bad songs of theirs.
The other brother is the guy playing the Toot.
@ahkkariq7406 Wow! You may be right! How did I not realize this before???!!! Dumbstruck. But still not sure about the nose.
@@suzanne7569 He might be using some kind of fake nose. It kind of looks like his body behind the curtain. In their shows, Bård is playing Mr. Toot. Go check it out.
@@ahkkariq7406Will do!!! All I have to say is I can't ever get enough of Ylvis. Between the modern independent rappers, the satirical songsters and Tiger, my musical life is complete!
Ylvis are great!
Ylvis also has a rap song called «Work It», so that should be more your style of music! 😄
BTW, loved your WTF reaction in the first few seconds of this song. 😂
😂 😂
More Ylvis!!!
#ylvis
I'm not well into what it takes to be hip hop and/or rap, but I'm pretty sure both 'Pressure' and 'Work it' by Ylvis falls into the category, and the same with their song 'Yoghurt'. Like so many other songs within the genre, 'Work It' in particular is on the edge, but since it is a satirical song whose purpose is to say something about the focus on sex within the genre, there is nothing else to wait for.
Pronunciation of the name is hard for a Non Norwegian without hearing it in Norwegian. Here you can get the pronunciation of the name Ylva in Swedish. The first three letters are pretty much the same, just swap out the -a with -is. th-cam.com/video/Drr4q-MsiIo/w-d-xo.html
Love those two! Intolerant is also well within the framework! And superlative!
@@suzanne7569 Intolerant is really something else!
@@ahkkariq7406 Yes! I NEED Bubber to react to this one. Hysterical! And perfect, musically.
👍😍😍
I just re-listened to Language of Love...a brutal takedown of both KPop and KPop fans. "I CAN'T UNDERSTAND WHAT YOU SAY!" Rapidly disintegrates from beautiful to bizarre to genuinely disturbing... all while sounding musically perfect. I think that, rather than comedic or satire, a better description of Ylvis is "deprogramming."
P.S. Many messages in this song. But can the line "ladies kissed him on the belly" be anything other than subtle deprogramming?! Unlikely.
Mc Stan tadipaar album pe react ❤
Nah, I never figured out how to pronounce their name correctly either... And I'm as sure as I can be that the Toot is a totally made-up instrument. 🙃🤣
It is an actual instrument lol

@@lillm6874 Good one. But, well, it has the same name, but the one in this video looks like an oud with a bent neck and a trombone horn stuck onto it, not like a recorder or flute.
@@suzanne7569 I know, but I had to try lol
@@lillm6874 Well, good try, I'll have to admit!
