Now I really want to visit this island so I could technically say I've been to East Germany
Me: a German
HAI: Stuff about strong economy etc...
Me: feeling proud
And the out of the nowhere:
Hai: “failing infrastructure projects” with a picture of the BER....
Me: heartbroken, close to tears....this just hit me right in the feels
So this is what the Molossian Guy said that he is still at war with East Germany
Next episode: How the USSR might still exist
How the HRE might still exist
How the Roman Empire might still exist
1:12 "For the next 51 years..." I think you mean 41 years.
"Federal" is spelled correctly at 1:47 but incorrectly at 1:59.
"Half as Interesting" videos are twice as entertaining as most videos on TH-cam!
a small note: during the bit when you say "during a state visit by a east german diplomat", you show a picture of Castro with none other than Erich Honecker, the General Secretary of the GDRs SED party, basically the head of state. And he was there during that state visit, where the picture is from. So it is downplaying it a little by calling it "a state visit from an east german diplomat".
The Germany we know as impressive failures at infrastructures
"The bit of East Germany that still exists"
Hetalians: *happy crying noises*
"It's like google plus" "..... aaaah yeah there was google plus at some point... does that still exist?" point made!
Southwest coast of cuba
*proceeds to show north of cuba*
Wendover I mean HAI you grossly violated the American flag by vertically displaying it upside down. The canton (union) should be on the top right when displayed vetically
"This would eventually lead to WW2"
*confused universe noises*
1:00 HaI:"France"
Me:"Netherlands"
Everything is fine, but “the Germany we know and love today ?---------- that’s a bridge too far amigo.
Many things come to mind when you say Germany, love ain’t one of them.
World leading economy, heading the entire green tech movement, economical and serviceable cars... 🤷♂️
@@stitchfinger7678 "Economical and serviceable cars" HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA.
Deutschland, deine Liebe
Ist Fluch und Segen
Deutschland, meine Liebe
Kann ich dir nicht geben
At least better than that wet island britain and has the most powerful economy in the EU
Gott strafe England.
Boo. I was expecting possibly the following:
- Trabants/Trabi Safari.
- Currywurst.
- East German food brands like Schlager Süßtafel, Spreewald Gurken, Nudossi, Filinchen, Club Cola, Rotkäppchen Sekt, etc.
- The niche restaurants serving East German (Cuisine) as well as the Russian restaurants serving the food of the Cold War as well.
- DDR Museum.
- Souvenir stands all over Berlin.
- Remnants of the Berlin Wall for sale at gift shops.
- The iconic Fernsehturm in Berlin.
Iguanas. Just iguanas.
