Great reaction, you mentioned 300, Sabaton have a song called Sparta, great song. And yes, they are amazing live. As for the Sabaton History channel, it is almost always wirh Joakim Broden, the singer or Par Sundstrom, the baseplayer. They are also the main writers, Joakim on the music and Par or both on the lyrics.. The guitarplayers, Chris Rorland( dark hair ) and Tommy Johanson have been co-writing on some of the songs for their latest albums. Tommy even wrote all the music fot their latest single The first soldier. Joakim and Par are the ones who started the military historysongs with Primo Victoria. They are the only original bandmembers left

They are also not only trained in modern combat; they are trained to effectively use the traditional armor, and weapons,(the halberd) of the Swiss Guard in actual combat. It isn't all for show.
They also have to be of good moral and standing - meaning good people in general.
