It can happen sometimes. When it happened to me, I just repeated the process with a new flex cable and it fixed it. Probably something wrong with the flex.

Good video. Are you able to remove the flex cable then and reuse it for another battery change?
You don’t need to remove it. All information are stored in that flex.
I want to get one of those logic board re programmers but dont know how much they go for?
if you talk about the JC V1SE i used, it goes for around $300. The boards cost extra or you can get them as a bundle.
u have to connect charger when u change the battery cell to activate the bms protection mode to normal mode
