I have recently discovered and purchased a barn find 73 SM that I hope to be able to refurbish and return to the road. I believe my car was retired in 1985 as a result of a blown head gasket but I suspect that given the amount of time it has been stored will require a complete refurbishment of the hydraulics. I will be watching your videos with great interest. Cheers, Lynn
Wow, wonderful. I thought that the "mushroom" brake pedal only belonged to some Citroen DS models, while I'm seeing that this SM has it too. I think it's not easy, especially the first few times, to get used to using it (without risking locking the wheels). Probably, as other owners of this car also use to do, it is easier to drive barefoot, to have greater sensitivity on the pedals?
looking forward to the resto of the SM. Cheers from the westcoast of canada.
Thanks Flyingdutchman44 I will be uploading progress as it moves along thanks for subscribing!
