Thanks a lot Ansh for starting the series on spatial design. It gave me a strong foundation to start learning about spatial design, after watching your video, I watched multiple videos and read articles on spatial design and it all started making sense to me. One day I would definitely meet you as a UX designer in one of your meetups and share about my learnings.
Hey Ansh, first of all, kudos on your UX Design Foundation playlist! I've been a long-time follower, and I must say your content is usually top-notch. Your explanations are on point, and I've learned so much from you. However, I have to be honest about this recent video. While your delivery and information were still great, I couldn't help but notice that around 90% of the content was quite similar to what you covered in the first episode. I initially thought it might be a recap leading to new insights, but unfortunately, that wasn't the case, and the video ended without much new information. As a dedicated viewer, I was hoping for fresh content and more advanced insights as we progress through the series. I didn't gain much from this episode because it mostly covered familiar ground. Don't get me wrong, your content is valuable, but I'm looking forward to more exciting and in-depth material in the upcoming episodes. Keep up the good work, and I'm eager to see the next video in the series!
Hii! Thank you for sharing this feedback. I do agree that some points would have overlapped because Episode 1 covered the entire upcoming playlist. However, after reading this, I went through the PDFs I've used in both the videos to see the % of overlap. Episode 1 was an eagle eye's view of the entire playlist. These are the topics we covered: 1. Difference between AR and VR 2. What is VisionOS 3. Shared Space vs Full Space 4. Basics of a Window 5. Basics of Vibrancy 6. Basics of Tab Bars & Toolbars 7. Basics of Volumes 8. Different kinds of inputs Now when we come to Episode 2, we started learning about the 5 Principles of Spatial Design. In this Episode, we went deep into just the First Principle - "Designing familiar experiences". Hence, we covered "Windows" in detail: 1. Quick recap of what we learnt in Episode 1 2. Example of how Apple Music would be redesigned from MacOS to VisionOS 3. How to move and resize a Window 4. Logic behind choosing the size of a Window and 4 different options to choose from 5. Using external sections in Windows 6. Using a separate plate for distinct actions 7. Why we design in Points for VisionOS 8. Icon guidelines for VisionOS so I feel the feeling of repetition must have come from Module 1 and Module 3, since they haven't changed. Module 2 is the only different part of the video, which is mathematically less than 30%. Hence, the feedback. Thanks for pointing this out though. I'll make sure I don't spend too much time revision and going through the resources in Module 3 from Ep 5 onwards (cos I've already shot till Ep 4)
A lot of VisionOS UX that deals with light, shadow, perspective, materials, textures, intuitiveness, etc. can be applied to MacOS. I wonder if we will see this in the future MacOS. Or even iOS. For example, there will be auto light reflection to the windows based on surrounding environment (wallpaper, other windows, icons etc) instead of theming.
Hey Ansh! It’s incredible, the amount of efforts you put in for your users to to understand new tech and be prepared for whats coming next!!! I had a small doubt regarding the new tech and ai, so using eye sensors and taping wouldn’t involve alot of rays giving out harming the human vision and skin? I just wanted to understand would the ai and these new interactions would also impact human life span in longer run?
Hello @Ansh Mehra, i genuinely loved this video this mind blowing i am eagerly waiting for the next parts pls give us a schedule that would be great. I also watched your whole UI/UX playlist its damn impressive to find such a quality content. You have helped me sharpen my UI/UX skills and pursue it as a career. Watching and learning from you has boosted my skills and productivity all time high. Thanks 🥰❤😊
Hi Ansh, I love your content, and the way you explain topics makes them very easy to understand. I have a question: do "DPI" from Android and "pt" from Apple have the same logic of upscaling and downscaling UI elements, or are they different?

One question: every technology has it's own pros and cons, for eg. devices like laptop & mobile radiate UV rays which is bad for health as well as eyes, so is there any problem with vision pro too which may affect the eye accommodation or any part of the eye? Also, for the people having spectacles, they might even wear lenses, are there any specific precautions recommended for such scenarios?
First of all thankyou Ansh bhaiya for this video. But I have a question I am new in UI/UX so should I spent lot more time in app or web design then come to Spatial Design?
Hey ansh! I'm a neet aspirant and truly dedicated towards that but interested in learning the UX UI designs so as to have a side kick sort of thing So can u please tell whether i can do that or not or is it ok for me to learn something opposite to my stream I'll be greatful if u'd reply 🙏
