Your guys’ website is perfectly laid out. It’s exhausting to scroll 3/4 the way down past the “Back in the day, we grew up on this meal,” or “This brings back memories of ______” origin stories to finally get to the recipe, on the average google recipe searches. Killer job on making it straight to the point in your links! By the way, try adding some ketchup and a dash of Sriracha into that burger sauce, it makes a great addition. I’m not too much of a spicy guy, so I go with maybe a teaspoon of that, taste, and add from there
Great lookin burgers, Neal! I love beer cheese, especially on busketti. I've never had it on a burger before so I guess I'm gonna have to try it. Great video my friend. 👍
Honestly this is the first time I have heard of beer cheese. Apparently I live a sheltered life. And the thing is those are two things I love. So I'll be making some of that. Lots of potential. It would make a fantastic Fondue, cheese spread on crackers. I'm thinking some kind of soup, oh the list goes on. As to it not getting solid so you can cut slices? Really not any problem if you're just going to melt it on the burger. In fact it seems this is better for this purpose. Instead of "cutting "the cheese 🧀. Just use a spoon. Great video, enjoy the day. Hey get one of those propane heaters out there that stand high and reflect the heat back down onto you and your cooking area. 😀👍🔥
Oh my goodness, I'm drooling. I'd need a knife and fork to eat that. Love grinding my own beef and then feeling good about cooking to medium / medium rare. Well done!
Neal- Try cutting the cheese with a wire cutter rather than a knife - I found it cuts "softer" cheeses more cleanly- Great video and recipe as always !

Neal & Amy...WOW! That pub burger looks to rival the ones found at "the bird place", and that cheese reminds me a lot of the other "processed block cheese" (you know the one I mean)...super melty, and I'll bet it was delicious! You two are a video force to be respected...keep up the great work. Thank you!
That is my kinda cheeseburger. Thanks for sharing and by the way the smashed potato breakfast was fantastic and our son has deemed it necessary in our weekend breakfast rotation.
When you started talking about this burger I was like, ok sounds good. But when I saw the extra mile you were going with the cheeses/beer and that meat grinder for the rib eye./beef short rib well that really got my attention. Then you put your own spin on the tasty sauce. I knew then this is going to be a winner, and it was. Now the cheese formation didn't matter to me either as I am always about the end result. But if it matters to someone then use the shallow containers and go about a 1/4 inch or your cheese thickness preference. You could easily fit 9 of them on a cookie tray and refrigerate over night. Maybe even pop them in the freezer before taking them out for about 20 minutes. But that is only if someone is worried about the appearance during the process. The end result will still be the same, a masterpiece of a burger. Also I looked at the prices on the meat grinders, very affordable and some of them you can make homemade sausage too.
My mouth is just watering as I watch you assemble these awesome looking burgers. Unfortunately I have to wait until spring to try these out. At 12 deg. F outside this morning it's not exactly grilling/griddling weather.

Then you have a slice on demand as needed.
Oh, those rolls looked like the pretzel rolls my wife and I got somewhere (Ruby Tuesday maybe) . That looks phenomenal! BTW, we reuse those plastic containers with Hot & Sour Soup from our favorite Chinese restaurant and the Mediterranean bar at our local grocery stores. How cheap is that?
Is that KitchenAid grinder add-on worth it? Considering the meat quality pre-ground vs grinding yourself vs cost/quality ratio? I've sometimes thought about getting it since we already have the mixer, but it's about $135 USD on Amazon Mexico so I haven't pulled the trigger yet.
