Your teaching skills and knowledge is awesome but there are some terms and explanations are missing in your this video according to NCERT syllabus like granulosa cells, gfraafian follicle, zona pellucida, tertiary follicle and antrum etc etc...!!!!

      No... they degenerate.... because at the time of menopause, no follicles are found in the ovary...

    Mam is there are 60k to 80k in each ovary or total in both in ncert it is given that (60k to 80k left in each ovary)

    Ma'am if oogenesis gets arrested at the diplotene of prophase-1 then how does the primary oocyte convert into the haploid secondary oocyte. Because reduction of chromosome no. occurs only after prophase-1 i.e Anaphase -1 of meiosis-1. In this case secondary oocyte must be diploid(2n).

    Mam is 1 pri folicle from 500 then total p.f is 60k to 80k then 80k/500 then 160 grafian fololicle each ovary, so both overy have total 320 ,then how a female can ovulate 420 - 450 ova during her reproductive phase,please explain it,

      Ovum is n haploid bcoz sec: oocyte cahnges into ovum only when sperm touches sec: oocyte not fuse with it...

      If less no of follicles are produced then after Artesia, no follicle remain, so only body adapt to produce more follicle

    I have a doubt when primary follicles starts dividing and gets arrested at prophase 1.....then at which stage of life,this process occurs
