Also, just an anecdotal story on my behalf; I brought Dunkin Donuts coffee inside today and nobody questioned it. Not saying this to discredit your outside food tip, just mentioning it because maybe they've become more lax on their food policies (or maybe I was just crazy lucky haha)

Next year I plan on doing an Ultimate Tip Video which will address it, seems like they did loosen up on food policy this year alittle bit. Thanks for the praise. I will keep doing my work to ensure everyone can enjoy PAX East to the max with more tips.

ordering stuff or making reservations via app is the way to go at Pax East. You're not walking across the street to Wal Mart or walking up and getting a table immediately at dinner time across the street from the con. Thanks for the video!

Any guide / prep for hotels?
Specifically if your 1 mile away etc- any tips for transportation?
Sometimes depending on how far away the hotel is that they do offer shuttle bus services from the hotel to convention center. Other than that keeep eye on teh weather, wear comfy shoes and dress accordingly. Day Time its pretty safe to walk around and at Night I never had any issues since the area in Seaport area got really developed and built up.
Im going for the first time on Sunday and Cosplaying as 9S from Nier with some of my family. This vid was very helpful and I hope everyone has fun.

How is the parking situation for attendees at Pax? Got a Thursday ticket.

Hey do you know when the Omni Parker hotel usually charges after registering
Or hotel in general
Usually when you make the reservation they won't charge you until you arrive at the hotel to check-in (Sometimes depending on scenario and website you use they will charge 1 night stay before hand to confirm). But 99% of the time the full amount will be charged right there at check-in when you walk in. Also Incidental Charge will be put on hold on your card and then let go after if the room is all clear and no damages were found.

Just curious. Can we wear a backpack into the convention? Is there any specifics when choosing a backpack?
You can have a backpack with u and other types of bags. It will just get checked real quick at entrance.

Come on Amtrak- they should have a LOUD car just for PAX! (Well sometimes the cafe car takes care of that)

I bring laundry soap pods to wash my clothes. Hotels have laundry rooms. Bring quarters.
I forgot some Hotels do have their own Laundry services or Laundry rooms that you can do it yourself. Great advice!
My experience with Pax East. I've been there with sneakers and no insoles and one insole. Both weren't enough my feet were still hurting by the end of the event. This year I'm going with two insoles, one gel and one foam. Hope it works. Makes me feel taller. lol.
