- Evan Brickner plays his rendition of Holy, Holy, Holy (NICAEA), with a lively introduction borrowed from the great Louis Vierne and cleverly adapted to lead into the hymn. The organ is Austin Opus 175 (1906), rebuilt and modified over the years, III/40.
Evan, I'm organist at another church but often attend Mass at St.John the Baptist in New Freedom with my mother and I miss hearing you there!

Very nice!!!. I loved listening to you perform. I live in Connecticut and ran into a woman at a vegetable stand with the last name of Austin. Turns out her husband/family owned Austin Organ in Hartford. He died some years ago. It was a pretty cool accidental meet up since my wife and I had just been talking about Cathedral organs in the car just before we had stopped in. 1 in a million I guess.

Glad you enjoyed it, James! It's a lovely instrument in a fantastic Cathedral. And it's just a block up the street from the parish where I work, so Evan and I collaborate regularly. You'll see more like this in the future!
I think his feet and hands hit the console at the same time and since the camera is on the console, it shuddered. The registration was probably not a factor in this blip.
