I'm so glad you mentioned that because this song reached number seven on the hot 100 back when Diane Warren was writing Pop songs for R&B groups and singers but for whatever reason they wouldn't get as much airplay as they would sales but this one got almost new air play. however, people buying it like crazy. And that was the thing whether it was an R&B artist or a pop artist with airplay on the radio... if Diane Warren wrote the song it was definitely going to be heavily bought from the public at retail and I think that's what they benefited from with this song.
