I love how they were telling each other to "sing" - really showed how they supported each other. Its a shame they didn't stay together because I think vocally they are one of the strongest female groups of the 90's, where each and everyone of them could actually "sing".

Tocha has a great voice, but she do entirely too much ALL THE TIME! I’m the same age as these women & have been a fan since they 1st came out. It wasn’t Tocha who’s voice we recognized when u heard a new Xscape record. It was Kandi’s voice that stood out that made u say “Oh, this is Xscape’s new song”. Her voice was recognizable bcuz it was distinctive & different than any other artist from that era. Kandi & T-boz had one of a kind sounding voices.
TAMIKA DID SAY SHE DIDN'T REALLY CARE MUCH TO SING LEAD AND THAT SHE WAS CONTENT WITH SINGING THE HARMONIES AS LONG AS SHE WAS GETTING PAID. SHE'S EASILY ONE OF THE MOST UNDER UTILIZED VOICES IN r&B and I've always thought she had the best vocals in the group.

They all sound amazing ! Kandi especially impressed me I’m glad she changed the arrangement for her first solo on the first verse. The super head voice on the 2nd verse was very impressive too. And man Tameka is deffo the best vocalist most controlled vocals of the group Tocha over does it for me sometimes but she was fine in this performance. Tinys tone and richness also gets me on this song aswell as on do you want to.
All ladies worked together collectively to create their sound. Xscape from the drama and enjoy the music! How can you communicate if you don't "hear" what they are saying!
Everyone's talking about that high note from Kandi, but her deep notes stir my complete soul. So rich and full. She has the best lows of any female singer I've heard. Better than Mariah Carey, Toni Braxton and Monica in my opinion.
